OK old guy here and never have done this before (I swear).

RAMS will not be on my local TV this week, one of only 4 games that I will not be locally televised. Can one of you super people give me the detailed directions so I can stream Sundays game.

I have a smart TV and comcast wifi and thinking this might be the easiest.

I have a laptop but not sure it has a HDMI port?

Finally have a Samung Galaxy S8+ (might need to use this for a bit if the wife drags me out of the house).

https://old.reddit.com/r/nflstreams/ or https://nflreplays.net/
Are either of these what I should use?

Do I need to wait until after the game starts? If so will it start from the beginning?

Any other info I need? Maybe just wait until the replay gets posted here?

Thanks in advance, you guys are the BEST. :grouphug:

Reddit streams are great, it's how I watch games when I'm working.

There's a chance you can pull it up through your TV if it includes an internet browser. If not, it'll be easy to stream and cast to your TV, but the resolution may not be as good.

I had success with buffstream I think it's called, worked well on my iPad. Hopefully it'll be working well on Sunday.

Reddit is awesome. I am sure we will have a few links posted in the gameday thread. Biggest thing to remember is never sign up for anything, never download anything and have current anti-virus software. Lately when you click the play arrow, you have to close the pop up and click play again then video will load. Much better than it was just a few years ago.

What would be a good anti-virus software? And I have a web browser on my smart tv, can you upload anti-virus software to that?

If you have Windows, Defender should already be on your computer. I haven't used any other anti-virus for years and no problems.

In my experience, smart TV browsers are slow and glitchy as hell. If your laptop is less than 7 or 8 years old, it likely has an HDMI port - even older ones often have them. This has been my go to as it is very easy to hook up the laptop to my TV and then use it as a 60" monitor. I have a remote mouse and keyboard so I can just sit on the couch and check the various streams until I find the one that works best. Reddit tends to have one or two that have great quality.

As @RamBall said, there is usually a pop up that says you need to download or update something. Just close it and hit play again or close out the stream and just click again on the reddit link. It generally starts playing after that.

Occasionally a stream will just stop. Most of the time I have been able to just close it and restart it and it works fine. Sometimes you might have to try another stream.

I used Reddit NFL streams all last year. Worked great for me.

The one listed above also gives replays I noticed; will this continue all year long? When do the replays start? Right after the game?

THanks for your help on this.
