I think the word "Bust" is greatly over-used in evaluating former high-picks.

Vernon Hargreaves is a Bust.

Hargreaves was drafted 11th overall in 2016. He was the third Cornerback selected after two players who started on Sunday ... Jalen Ramsey (5th overall) and Eli Apple (10th overall).

He is on his third team and is not a relevant player ... inactive on Sunday, with at least four CBs ahead of him. Probably talented enough to be good but something's missing (work ethic, maturity, professionalism, dedication or half-a-dozen other things). Regardless, he's a Bust; and his stupid, selfish play may have prevented Cincinnati from being more aggressive late in the first half; and kept them from adding a field goal.

Thank you Vernon Hargreaves! I hope you play against the Rams in many more games.

The Rams in both Super Bowl titles, beat a team with a head coach that would be a former Ram coach (Jeff Fisher and Zac Taylor).

I thought about that the other day!

Here's a real mind bender....

My Pops went to the '51 Championship victory, game was won on a 73yd strike to Tom Fears, After Cle ties the game 17-17
I went to the '99 Super Bowl and the game was also won on a .........73yd strike to Isaac Bruce. After Tenn ties the game 16-16

'51 - Rams- 24
Browns - 17

'99 - Rams - 23
Titans - 16
I have an uncle that was also at that '51 game...

Both SB winners began the season with first time starters at QB (for the Rams), when they opened with an incumbent, they lost! Haden, Warner & Goff!
Maybe we'll have to start '22 with Perkins at QB :)

Now we need to find the “23” connection. Why 23 in our wins?
2022-1999= 23
Here's a few more:

Time lapse between first two Super bowls (1979 to 1999) = 20 years
Time lapse between last two Super bowls (2018 to 2021) = 3 Years

We've won 2 and lost 3.

Both of the Rams' Super bowl losses to the Patriots happened on February 3rd (2/3)
2/3/02, 2/3/18

Sadly, the winning score in Super Bowl XIV was a 73 yd strike from Bradshaw to Stallworth.

Here is a odd fact. Those long stemmed dark bottles that Rams players were swilling at the parade was a champagne called Ace of Spades. It sells for $296.95 per bottle, free shipping if you buy two...Hear that @Merlin ? Drop the Asti Spumonte!

Right after the victory parade, there were bottles available to purchase but now they are SOLD OUT! Looks like @CGI_Ram 's Canadian shipment must have left the docks!

Some Rams players apparently needed a ride to the airport from a random fan after the parade. Strange, but true. Check out Nick Scott, Taylor Rapp, Jake Gervase and Joe Noteboom catching a ride!
