The dude runs silky routes and pulls balls out of the air like they're pillows just floating there. Has any receiver had the nickname "Smooth Operator"? If not, that's him.

It's early and all but I'm throwing his name in the hat for steal of the draft.

I know I'm a homer and an undying Rams fan, but I truly see a future Bruce / Holt in Givens / Bailey.

Seriously - That's a duo with mad skills!

I hope the training camp prognosticators are wrong and he lines up across from and next to Givens instead of rotating Givens out. Those two on the field with TA and Cook could set the NFCW on fire.

Now that I've seen him live, that's the real deal.

Oh, he caught three TDs today in practice. Just sayin'.

By the way this thread just struck lighting in my brain. Stedman Bailey's new nick name will be Steddy Smooth or Steddy The Smooth . Whichever tickles your fancy.

I live out of town and was only able to go to training camp once. But Bailey was the best player on the field that day. He ran smooth routes, caught everything around him and always seemed to get open. I think he could be a very good WR for us. I wonder where he will be on the depth chart by opening day.
