Not what I think will happen, but who i think they should be looking to grab if they don't trade down (in no order) :

TE C. Loveland (trade up?)
LB J. Campbell
CB T Amos
OT K. Banks
OT J. Simmons / J Conerly Jr.

I would love J. Barron if he drops, but don't think he will, and would love CB M. Hairston after a small trade down.

Sneaky choice people seem to hate would be TE Mason Taylor after a small trade down.
Yep, I think Taylor is a definite target. Probably the 2nd best all around TE in the draft behind Warren.

I'm starting to think Amos might be the most likely pick for us. I would not hate Taylor after a trade down. It would be hard to be mad with anyone they took in a trade down IMO. I'd even be fine with Milroe after a trade down.

All 3 of those guys are very possible picks. Amos & Taylor make sense at 26 or after a slight trade down. Milroe could be that wildcard pick because he can help this year in a gadget role while grooming to be the QB as far as 3 yrs from now.

I would not say we are set at edge exactly. BY's contract is coming up and he didn't have an amazing year last season. Also, we lost a guy that played a lot in Hoecht (639 snaps),who was arguably better then BY last season. A dominant young edge across from Verse would be a nice thing to have or even one to insert into the rotation.
I would agree. I like BY and hope he shows more fire, because that seems to be where he struggles. The fire in the belly. He reminds me a little of a less talented Robert Quinn. Quinn seems like if he had another gear, mentally, he could have been even better.

No doubt in my mind he's in play for us. Thing with him is if McVay loves his film do you risk moving down? Then watch someone take him and wonder why in the fuck you overcomplicated finally adding a TE you like for your offense. I don't see them doing that.

Now if they love a few different players in that "bucket" as Les calls it, and are content with any of them, then I could see them dropping down. But TE in particular has eluded them badly. And now Kupp is gone, who was effectively a mini-TE and owned that role in this offense.

Are they totally happy with Nacua in that role? If so then they may not be after TE or a slot role. But if not then it's hard to imagine them fucking around with whoever they target.

I think there are prospects with bigger upside but I am sure McSnead wants a solid high floor prospect at around 26.

OT Josh Simmons - If Jack/Hav go down your season is gone.
OT Kelvin Banks - See above
TE Loveland - Could have a dynamic year 1 impact with Mcvay.
CB Jahdae Barron - Could be a huge upgrade at area of need.
LB Jihaad Campbell - See above.

Note: All these players might require a small move up but I think wheeling Snead might do it.

If the Rams move back a bit I wouldn't mind Burden or Revel.
This, we need to build a better OL still and we need to max out Stafford years still

I am hoping for:

Rd 1: OT
Rd 3: TE
Rd 3: CB
Rd 4: RB explosive 3rd down back
Rd 5: CB
Rd 6: WR plus speed

Man the more names I see, the more I think our roster is pretty thin. We still gotta lotta needs as a team.
Only position we don't have needs in are at DT & Edge... if we get one of those at #26 I'll be torqued.
Really, biggest needs are at CB & ILB, then a faster RB, and then a "move" TE, all else we could really use depth on, including QB--I will NOT be happy with Garrapolo taking over for #9 after '26.
The needs are being exaggerated. A few weeks ago everyone was saying ‘what a great job Snead did filling the holes in free agency. Now the Rams can pick BPA.’ A few days before the draft and a few are claiming they need every position but guard and center.

The closer we get to the draft the stranger people get.

I couldn't choose 5. I've got 6 names

Loveland (trade up target)
Egbuka (staying put at 26)
Simmons (staying put at 26)
Milroe (staying put at 26)
Amos (26 or a slight trade down)
Mason Taylor (26 or a slight trade down

I will follow the rules and amend to my top 5. I'm now convinced that McVay is drafting offense so striking Amos from the list.

I saw DJ just mocked Hampton to the Rams in his last mock tonight on NFLN. I never considered that he would get to 26. If he does, I would hope they seriously consider taking him.

Doubt it happens, but maybe Harbaugh would be willing to make a trade for Blake Corum.

I don't have 5, but I will predict Rams use their #1 pick on a CB, and they get "Maxwell Hairston".

We shall see. I'm convinced that they won't go RB early. Because Blake Corum.

I feel they drafted him last year with the plan to take over for KW.
