Stafford was dropped twice as a baby. Once on Hiroshima, once on Nagasaki....

Too soon?

And yes, I know the time line doesn't work out, haha. It works better for Chuck Norris..

When Mat Stafford has sex he wears a live rattlesnake. He visited the Virgin Islands with Mrs. Stafford, coincidently they are now just called 'The Islands".

When Matt Stafford went to school in Georgia he wasn't a Bulldog, he was known as the "Raw Dog". In that 4 years of his university enrollment the population of Athens doubled.

So both Kupp and Mathis come off the IR, do we have to cut 2 players right away or not till they are officially activated? Also sounds like Jackson will be a go for the Eagles game. Sucks that Boom has another ailment, hopefully he can still play.

The Rams have been carrying just 50 players the past two weeks, so they have plenty of roster space.

IR'd players like Kupp have a window (3 weeks?) to practice before being activated. I think (not sure) they don't count against the 53 until they are activated.

From just four games ... 2 1/2 from Jackson and just 1 from Dotson ... the Rams' best five man O-Line might be ... Right-to-Left ... Havenstein / Dotson / Shelton / Avila / Jackson.

Im pretty sure it’s when they come back whenever that is the Rams have to cut a player.

I just assume Boom is going to have something wrong with him honestly. Literally, he’s a walking injury.

We have 3 spots on the roster as you see form us only having 4 inactives instead of 7 like our opponents do each week.

Bennett is on the NFI list with Kupp, Long, Mathis and Taylor on the IL. Seems they were planning on some of those coming back instead of having to activate guys from the PS or signing some.

When Matt Stafford attends a feminist rally, he comes back with his shirt ironed and a sandwich.

The flu has to get Matt Stafford shots once a year.

Matt Stafford has a grizzly bear carpet in his living room. It isn't dead. Its just afraid to move.

When The Hulk gets really really angry, he turns into Matt Stafford.

Matt Stafford was once bitten by a rattlesnake. After 5 days of excruciating pain the snake finally died.

When Matt Stafford left for college he told his father "You're the man of the house now".

Sean will just have the team doctor provide Matthew with a new bionic hip so he will be ready to roll for the GreenBirds.

Yes. I hope Noteboom is healthy. He’s our best back up. We need him in case Jackson or Dotson get injured.

Does anyone know how long it will be before Bennett can be placed back on the active roster.

I’ve read enough about Stetson being in rehab to believe that’s the issue. Usually Rehab is a 3 month stint. I worked with young people and many had problems. Some of them had substance abuse problems. Several went into rehab. What happened afterwards was unpredictable. One of the biggest F’ups on my crew only needed one stint of rehab to turn his life around. Another who he was good friends with, and is much more intelligent, has been to rehab four times in the last 15 years. So how long do the Rams hold the door open for him until they say that they need to draft another backup? It took Manziel several years to right his ship.

Another point is that people rarely get out of rehab and just instantly go back to their life before that, especially if it’s the life of an NFL QB. There is a lot of pressure in that job. Learning the playbook, meeting expectations of coaches, performing when called on. Leading the team, etc… For a guy recovering from substance abuse that’s a lot to deal with. Maybe he comes back in three months, more likely he comes back to OTAs.

His situation brings up questions of reliability even into the future. I hope it works out but I think it’s too much to ask for an NFL team with an immobile 35 year old QB to be banking on.

Talk about killing a fun thread...

Just to make it worse... we could have drafted O'Connell... :bigcry:
