The rate of fire for the Plalanx is otherworldly and the target acquisition is scary especially on a static surface.

I saw a live demo, you actually forget to breathe it's so impressive.
 
I spent a week on the New Jersey testing Tomahawks in the 80's for Mcdonnell Douglas. They fired the 9 inch guns. Awesome memories.
