Not homering.

His eval is almost identical to Whit's. His feet are elite.

He gives us the freedom to let Hav go if we can't pay him after this year or step in at LT if Whit's decline is sudden.

Honestly, he looks tons better than most other OL and with Kromer and under Whit and Hav, he may ultimately the best OT from this draft.

I'm optimistic he will work out. More importantly, he fits in with the sort of player the Rams have looked for last year and this year, with but a few exceptions.

He has a good body of work.
He has stayed healthy.
He is very smart.
He is highly coachable.

He should fit into the Rams plans, and he filled a hole for 2018, and will likely fill a greater hole in 2019 or 2020. People worried about the Rams losing 3 OL next offseason have reason to worry less.
