So far...it looks like the Rams did a very good job drafting, so I think you go with what you have, and build on it next draft.
They went "all in" and won Super Bowl LVI with big moves...so mission accomplished!

Here's some things I wonder:

- Is this Donald's last year? He's a smart guy...and everything I've heard him say over the years says he's going to leave the NFL with his health. If Donald retires...that's loosen's cap space quite a bit.

- Stafford...what does he do after 2023 season? that will free up a bunch too!

Those are two key guys...so what I'm saying is...don't count your chickens on uncertainty. Build judiciously smart on the future. Play this season with what you have, draft smartly, and you're on the upward spiral.

Don't go for Taylor...let Williams, Rivers, and Evans carry the load!!!

This year, I say the Rams play with what they have and develop some of the young talent. I still want to see what Evans brings to the table. Next year may be the year to pick up a mid-season addition for the playoff run.
This is probably the smart approach. And what the Rams will most likely do.

But we're talking Les and Sean here. :laugh4:

I'd also keep a close eye on Chase Young as a reclamation project.
I'd be ecstatic to ad chase young and then if Fred Taylor were in the cards Id be more on on Taylor my preference is
Edge
Corner
Taylor
But I'd love with edge and Taylor lol

Isnt Fred Taylor like 50 years old?

Or is it smart to go for it, while you have a franchise QB and a once in a generation DT still on the team? Drafting a rookie QB is an absolute crap shoot and drafting high enough to get a 1st ballot HOFer like Aaron Donald may never happen again in our lifetimes.

Add pieces if you can and run for the gold while you can. YOLO.

I think if anything is going to happen it will be after week 4 probably between week 5 and 6. I have a feeling it will be Taylor if they make a move. Taylor would need to be cleared to play after week 4. I can see the Rams at 3-1 after week 4. They play the Cardinals week 5 which would give Taylor 2 weeks to practice and learn the playbook before the Eagles game.

If they are going to make a move that is when I think they will do it.

I’ll ,but not until for the 100th time talk about my 2020 draft picks. Then again The Rams NAILED IT 2023!!

2020 would have traded up & drafted Johnathan Taylor & AJ Dillion. That eliminates Cam Akers - Van Jefferson- & Terell Lewis .

2021 traded up for Landon Dickerson C/G

2022 - Cobie Bryant

2023 - It has all started to come together,it’s nice to see Tutu Atwell keep playing & Van Jefferson steppin.

Only question- what would you give up to get Johnathan Taylor

I’m with the conservative crowd on this. Stay the course with eyes on ‘24.

Unless, an elite guy becomes suddenly available at LT, CB or pass rush.
An elite guy with at least two years left on his contract.

If there were to be a 'splash signing', I wouldn't expect it until after our week 10 BYE week, ... if at all.

The only position I'd be interested in giving up assets for right now would be a premium edge rusher
