Per McVay in Monday's press conference...

“We'll work through that," stated McVay. "I have a lot of confidence in [Linebacker] Troy [Reeder]. We have a lot of confidence in some of the different guys. Obviously [Linebacker Shaun] Dolac… we only have four guys on the roster, but Troy is a guy that's shown that he's more than capable as is Shaun Dolac. We have guys on the practice squad but haven't gotten too far deep into that quite yet.”

I think McVay is the only Troy Reeder fan on this planet!

It is Shula's fault. No reason we should have Reeder on CMC there. Not sure why he wouldn't have a safety go out there and handle that assignment.

We need a compromise. Reeder gets the coinflip and opening serires as starter. Then it's Dolac.

If Troy Reeder seats over Shaun Dolac,I’m ok with that.My point is that Troy Reeder isn’t the anti-Christ that Rams Fans need to be knocking at the front of SOFI stadium with there pitchforks.

Well on Thursday Night football I can’t recall how bad Reeder was & if he was supposed to have made a great play,or messed up ? I was a little hammered & I’d say be careful of what you wish for.

My mind is open & if you were to ask me right now.I’d say Troy Reeder might be a better option against Henry???

It’s not hoping he gets injured. He’s already injured. It’s just hoping his healing is delayed until Monday.

Michael J Fox is a better option than Reeder.
He is giving us Troy's a bad name.

G-Money is going to do what’s right.Shula talked about Speights being a such a good fit with Landman.They like how Dolac comes to work each day.
It wouldn’t be Troy Reeder being the one who losses a game for The Rams & that is WAY over BLOWN.Not as in tackles either.
McCollough has been getting extra snaps with the defense going more nickel & dime packages.
In Reeders case he will have a couple of plays that could impact a couple series,but what I’ve seen in the past is that on 3rd downs he does alright on keeping players behind the marker.Henry is not an easy chore to stop at times.There will be a test for all the Haters & fans like me who trust he is a capable backup.
 
BTW- wtf happened last season when The Rams propelled him into the starting MLB under a young defense & rookie DC.
I’d say that’s asking a lot from a backup who try’s his best with a D” who had NO CB’s on the outside.The Rams aren’t the same team without Ahkello Whiterspoon.
He has been glue holding the defense together the last 3 years.
I do like Durant’s toughness & the way he has made clutch plays.
 
after watching the giants beat Philly it's obvious to me we can be good enough, but the rams won't get over the hump. defending the pass is our Achillis heal. not addressing the cb situation and going with what we have is a recipe for a first round out. if we lose to the ravens, which I think is coming, it will be interesting to see which unit or units continue to fail at measuring up. I love the rams, but they have let me down before and when coach says he doesn't see a problem with his pass defense I have to disagree. fingers crossed. go rams.
