Probably gonna be a short thread on this one or not lol.....but do the Rams take a flyer on this guy if all it requires is a day 3 pick? Apparently this might be what it takes due to his gambling issue.
you just won the internet for the dayI give the odds at 6-to-1 ... I will let you guys know if Sorsby puts down a bet.
More like we'd dump Bennett if this happened..... not saying it is by the way, just threw out the topic for conversations sakeSo we just dump Simpson?
Not if they dumped Bennett. You'd essentially have 2 rookies competing while developing. I think its extremely unlikely but figured just to throw it out there for no particular reason.taking him means the Rams have zero faith in Simpson, which means the Rams wasted a top 15 pick. So, no. No QBs until we see what we have after some development happens
I mean, I just don't see how a guy you hope could be your starting QB someday would get any meaningful snaps to develop him into that with Simpson getting those snaps. And if you split snaps between them you screw both of them cause there's already not enough snaps to help develop backup QBs these days.More like we'd dump Bennett if this happened..... not saying it is by the way, just threw out the topic for conversations sake
There were times in games three through eight, Sorsby reminded me of Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen.
Holy footballs.
Did I really just say that out loud?
I did.
For the record ⎯
I’m not comparing Sorsby to Allen.
Not yet, anyway.
But in what ways does he make me think of Allen?
- Athleticism
- Toughness
- Dual threat
- Arm talent
- Competitiveness
- The way he spreads the ball around
But stylistically, my notes occasionally drifted toward "early Josh Allen" while watching Sorsby -- not because the talent is comparable, but because of the willingness to trust his arm, play outside structure and occasionally live with the consequences.
