Sony is a Superbowl Champ. Will always ask why Snead(Mcvay)didn’t pick him up after he was cut by Miami? Staley jumped in ? Not sure they had waiver rights?

What happened with Akers & Henderson last season was a JOKE!! They both left OTA’s & Mcvay called them both out of shape going into 2022.The rest is history.

Cam Akers learned a big lesson, but just like another Rams RB the picked up from Miami(from 2021 Brown) last season. Sony knows The Rams system.

Sony Micheal deserves another chance, but he doesn’t play special teams.

Long suffering Os fan here!!! Still Camden Yards is top 2 MLB yards. Tied with Wrigley in my book.
Great American Ball Park( Reds) is pretty nice .Pretty cool how it overlooks the Ohio River. It' s the only one I've been to so hard to compare it to any where else. Camden Yards looks pretty cool outside the stadium down the first base line I think that's where they said that's where Boog's Barbeque was located.

This is why I said repeatedly that IMO the Rams won't extend Akers. They will simply keep drafting a new one when they need to.

After Gordon said that running back is “the worst position” in the NFL right now—

“It’s just so tough for running backs right now, man,” Gordon said. “You have a lot of running backs that’s out there. We just don’t get no love. It’s literally the worst position to play in the NFL right now. It literally sucks.”
Rome shot back to ask him what happened to make it that way.

“I think that when you say right now ‘being a running back sucks’ and it might be the worst position in the NFL, like what happened? Can you point when that happened?”
Gordon pointed the finger directly at the Los Angeles Rams and Todd Gurley.

“After Todd got paid and then Sean McVay came out and said I’d never pay a running back again...and I’ll just use them and rotate them out.”

Loved him in horns and was shocked he was not re-signed considering how he literally saved our offense during the stretch run of our Super Bowl season, and how great he is in pass pro. He certainly seemed to have plenty of juice left. At least a season or two or maybe even 3. But apparently, he was awful last year in Miami. We shall see if he has anything left in the tank. I am approaching it with cautious optimism.

Did McVay really say he would never pay a RB again??? I do not recall that, and seriously doubt that it happened. Sounds like Gordon is just a whiny bitch.

I suspect Sony was re-chosen for his tough running and pass-blocking abilities. You have to protect Matthew at all costs as he is the type of QB who can win you close games - even a Super Bowl - with a subpar offense. Soul stealing is a viable strategy with a healthy Matthew.

You know, looking at the moves this offseason, or rather lack of moves, it sure appears like the Rams are looking at 2023 as a throwaway season. Its still possible when you see what our depth chart on defense looks like. Some have even used the 'tank' word to describe their strategy.

But now they sign an experienced RB vet who can still pick up tough yards and knows how the protect the quarterback. With all the receivers on the roster they signed two more experienced guys. A couple guy who should be good enough for WR3 position. If Tutu, Skow or Puka earn the WR3 spot then even better. Should make the position group deeper with a couple experienced guys backing them up.

I'm thinking they really want to focus on the offense this year. That would be their best shot at playing competitive football this year. Picking up Michel has given me a more positive outlook for this season. I had them penciled in for 7 wins at best. Now I'm thinking if the line can be serviceable they could win 9 or 10.
