Yawn even the players know these games are rigged with the officials attempting to influence the outcomes. It's where ever the big money is. Just go back and look at that overturn of Tutu's TD by NY. You can't even see a single blade of green on his shoe but he somehow clearly stepped out. That 4 point differential was the margin of loss. Look at how that single loss has impacted the Ram season. They wouldn't be chasing a wildcard berth they would be the #6 seed.
The NFL embraced gambling and ever since the officiating is rigged and everyone knows it even those that don't want to admit it. The hypocrites suspend players for gambling even when it's not on the NFL. Yet they promote gambling as their major sponsors. Also, there is no prohibition on gaming on ownership.
As someone who was working in a casino gaming commission and got fired for refusing to falsify an invalidation of a multimillion-dollar win, I know how dirty the business is. All California casinos are run by Vegas who contrary to the FBI are still run by mafia families. They flew fixers out from Vegas to ensure the win was invalidated. It's why I moved to Mexico for a few years and now live in AZ after all the threats. All major jackpots on slots can be invalidated by a "machine malfunction". All progressive jackpots are controlled by a networked server based in Las Vegas which dictates when a jackpot will be paid out. Slot machine wins are not random they are scheduled by the servers in each of the casinos all of which run Vegas generated software. I know because my job was to set each machine every morning at 3am.
It's naive IMO to think the mega gaming interest isn't part of the blatant crap officiating now going on in the NFL. It's not coincidental that the officiating deteriorated at the same time gambling sponsorship started in the NFL. It's how I knew years before the stadium was built in Las Vegas that the NFL would move there. It was no secret for those who worked in gambling admin. Yet my friends scoffed at me when I told them saying the NFL would never allow it. They refused to allow the City of San Diego to accept one of the casinos to be a co-sponsor of the stadium citing their anti-gaming policy. What a joke, they knew Spanos wanted out of San Diego, and they wanted him to move to Vegas so the Chargers were offered the stadium first. But Spanos didn't want to have to spend his own money for a stadium.
So yeah it's also why I'm used to having people scoff at things I say.
