Snead and Mcvay just don't appreciate the need for a good OL.

The big issue is also that McVay should at least have a plan B in case the line gets caved in. He should be able to adjust with screens and quick slants to get the ball out quicker. This 7 step drop back when the front can't hold their blocks for more than 1.5 seconds is a killer. Maybe he thinks Stafford is too stupid and will be fooled into an INT...who knows..but I do think McVay needs a real coach as the OC and not some waterboy that just sits in meetings with him all year.

that is they way they have played us for the last couple years for sure.

When the Rams were moving the pocket and mixing in the run in the first half, they were successful.

They went 10 plays in a row without running the ball in the second half and NONE of those were to Cooper Kupp.

Why can't we do the same thing to other teams? So SF took away the long pass and the short pass? ...and the running game? We need some bread and butter plays in our back pocket...we don't seem to ever have any of those that get us much needed 1st downs.

49ners D-line top to bottom is more stout than ours and they have a couple monster lbs that can cover.
