Which is all that matters. I could give a fuck what the unwashed masses think.
Would you rather the Rams had won or Stafford had played better?

A Rams win everyday of the week and twice on SundaysWould you rather the Rams had won or Stafford had played better?
.
Yeah I hear you.September? We got FA and the draft - both gonna be exciting for Ram fans. The last pieces will be added to next year’s Super Bowl champs — The LA Rams!
I didn't suit up, I didn't practice, I didn't lift, I didn't play games.
Silly question. Yes of course.Would you rather the Rams had won or Stafford had played better?

The NFL changed their rules after that Patriot Game, as the Patriots knew that Warner's receivers were mostly on timing routs. The Patriot defenders were holding and bumping the receivers far past the 5 yard zone to disrupt the timing passes. Add to that the 500,000 fine the Patriots had to pay for their videotaping of our red-zone walk throughs ( there's that red zone thingy problem again). Many of the Rams players said that the Patriots seemed to know what plays they were running when they got down close to the goal line. So I would say that Super Bowl was more egregious. The Lions game had many elements...but it's the ref's no call against the Lions for head butting and stomping Stafford that upset me the most. I would have been upset even if the refs threw the flag, but the fact that they didn't even have the courtesy of calling a penalty was sickening to me.This was worse IMO. The Rams truly did deserve to win this game in my view. In 2001, I thought the Patriots neutralized the Rams pretty effectively. Was that due to cheating and/or illegal play? Up for debate. As a Rams fan, I'd certainly say yes! But it's "any given Sunday". Unlike with this Wild Card round, I didn't leave the 2001 Super Bowl feeling like the Rams outplayed their opponent and deserved a better outcome only to be screwed by several questionable calls and non-calls from the refs.
To be completely honest, I think a lot of Rams fans had some degree of entitlement in 2001, thinking that the team deserved the win because of how stacked that roster was and how they were setting the league on fire. So when they lost, fans had trouble accepting any reason other than cheating could be the answer. I am not saying the Pats did not cheat. I think they did. And the NFL's actions after the fact I think underscore it. But I do think that some entitlement was out there.
Throw a parade?
Because I can acknowledge what Goff just achieved?
For some reason people here find it impossible to give Goff his due. The Rams already won a superbowl with Stafford who gave probably the best playoff qb football the nfl has seen.
There's no need for all the insecurity seen here about Goff leading the Lions for the win over the Rams.
.
I don't have confidence Goff will take them to a Superbowl. blitz him and he's toast. go rams.I think some of the takes around here lack acknowledgement of Goff's play in that game. But so what. He's not a Ram. And Goff is gonna be Goff at some point in this playoff run.
Tell you what... If Goff takes this Detroit team to a title I'll post a heartfelt take on him getting it done. Of course I'll also tell you that maybe him getting cast aside by McVay was something he needed. A competitor is going to be better for being told he's not good enough, particularly when it's true.
I don't know why people still hold onto this. If it was true, EVERY team would blitz him relentlessly and he'd fold. This doesn't happen though.I don't have confidence Goff will take them to a Superbowl. blitz him and he's toast. go rams.
he was o for 5 against the blitz in the second half. he can be rattled. In these next games we will see. I don't have the faith. go rams.I don't know why people still hold onto this. If it was true, EVERY team would blitz him relentlessly and he'd fold. This doesn't happen though.
Even if he is rattled, the Lions have a coaching staff that will stay 100% committed to the run to take the pressure off.
