I think I saw that segment on u tube. Eye opening when you consider the Rams were paying an elite player at CB, edge, (since departed), DT, WR, picked up OBJ, and paid for TWO starting QBs (Stafford and goff) and went on to win the SB.
…the g-men (and several other teams) have no serious talent on their roster for the same $$!

I don’t think it is solely Snead or Holmes. Their analytics are the plus that gives them the players who fit what they are looking for.

Agree. I think the engine is in place. It’s above one person. Snead is the head mechanic, so to me that’s the most critical piece. Someone that knows how things should work.

Holmes would be important, but Snead keeps the analytics engine humming and that removes the reliance on people.

The Rams have built a system like no other team it appears to grade players via a metric system. And the mental test prospects need to pass is a cut above the league. You here them talking about how the 40 dash doesn’t have nearly as much value to them vs. Other teams. Every position has an unique grading system on & off the field.

Such a good time to be a Rams fan

I do believe the analytics model would be easy to copy. The Rams advantage is their data is already deep and will be deeper for a while until others catch up.

But that analytics model will be the new standard, IMO.

Brad Holmes knows what it looks like… what do we think he is building in Detroit? Probably what he saw work with the Rams.

I remember that computer guy The Rams had who wore that silly straw Disneyland hat. Anyway that time has passed.

Kevin Demoff has his hand on the pulse of it all. I just hope Holmes doesn’t try to steal any scouts.

I will guarantee you Raheem Morris has a Big Azz say in it all though.Watch during & after the draft & how Morris handles things.
