actually with morris as the dc the rams should get what they can for him. morris has made him a spectator. suddenly AD needs an all pro edge so he can do what he's done his whole career with anybody next to him.

i can't watch AD watching qbs throw simple passes to wide open wrs within 2 secs for another season.

There is no price. I only trade AD if he wants to be traded (like to Pittsburgh). Otherwise, you show him loyalty.

It’s ridiculous that more Rams fans don’t realize this and aren’t outraged. Wasting an All Time Great in his prime, at the end of his career. Smfh

Like the loyalty AD showed by refusing to finish his contract until we gave another $40m?

My favorite part of that farce was when AD said that it wasn't about the money, rather they convinced him that they had the pieces to "run it back" and play for another ring in 2023.

His extension demand closed the SB window last season. Giving in to it is what will keep the window closed in 2023.

He's my favorite Ram of all time, but I gotta keep it real.

I would consider trading him for 2 good starters and 2 first round picks (maybe late rounders too). He only has a few years left so it’d be hard to refuse a big package like that for him.

This is not going to be a competitive team next year, unless we hit on most of the draft picks, re-sign our key players in Gay and Gaines, get our key players fully healthy (A-Jax comes to mind.), and have Lady Luck on our side.

Fortunately, we have the right people to do that. That's what's most important: having the right people to propel us back to greatness.

It could also be McVay and Snead's best year if they play their cards right. IMO, the pillars are still there for a really good team. The supporting cast must produce though.

I recently read (sorry, no link) that the whiners are penciled in as the NFC west champs and a ticket to the NFCCG next season, even with no QB as of this writing. The same article says the Rams are in rebuild mode. I don't buy that. The Rams should still be contending for the NFC West and beyond. But we'll need a little bit of luck and we need to avoid major injuries.

Donald is the only untouchable player on the roster. Besides no one is going to trade for a guy that is going to retire next year. If they even tried to trade him Donald would immediately retire.

He has a no trade clause, so any trade possibility would need to have ADs blessing to open serious talks. Given this, I don't see AD agreeing to go anywhere unless he is offered even more money.

I want him to retire never wearing another team jersey. He’s all ours and don’t care what we can get for him.

I think Kupp is an untouchable player also

Agreed but if he's still around for 5 more years and the Rams win 2 more Lombardis, I might be okay trading him for a King's Ransom then.

We're dumping everybody short of Kupp, AD and Stafford it seems. What's your price on AD? He's signed for 2 more years at $28.5 and $15 million so not a bad contract hit you just have to resign him if you trade for him.

At least a top half first and a future first for me.
According to Spotrac his next 2 years are $26M and $34.1M.

Those are cap hits. If we trade him the team getting him doesn't have to pay his prorated bonus just his base salary and roster bonuses. Also my number has changed now there's a new "other bonus" in '24 of $6,666,666 so add that to that year so 28.5 and what 21.7 million.

You don't trade AD unless he wants to. The guy is future first-ballot. Period.
