I saw this posted on a Saints forum and it was kinda funny to me and I can see why they would think like that lol. I guess last year was their infinity war when they lost the game ....Will brees be captain America or iron man though ?‍

I hope they don't think they are the Avengers in Endgame and realize they are the Avenger in Infinity Wars right where Thanos dropped the Moon on Iron Man... You know how the timelines are and how irrational the Saints fans are right now after their SB dreams got "snapped" out of reality last year! And with Brees he has to be Capt America since he is the senior Saint. I think Brees is all class so I'd tip my cap to him if they win.

On another note, I love this rivalry. The Rams are up and coming and the Saints have been a great team for a while. Its rivalries like this (I love playing the Eagles as well) that really make this game great since they focus the attention of the football nation on the Rams! Just remember what an advantage it was playing in the Edward Jones Dome during the hayday of the GSOT and just think that is where we are headed moving into the LASED!

Hey Saints fan, come get some! You might not be so happy you did!

What is hilarious about all this is the Saints were a victim of a bad non-call due to the ref being in a poor position for the play (on top of the insanely loud dome and all the other NFC Championship game madness).

But the 2001 Rams had it far worse. They were victim to another team outright cheating by filming their gameplan install/walkthrough, where the Pats were sitting on routes for new plays that Martz had just drawn up. Then the Pats holding their wideouts on almost every play with zero calls. And then the NFL burned the tapes. Yeah.

Saints fan base just has way too many bandwagoners. That is the only explanation for them acting like they're the first team ever to be effed in the playoffs by the refs. It's ridiculous.

Actually what's worse is that the NFL had to apologize to the Vikings - just like the Saints - after the 2009 NFCCG. They have literally been on the opposite end of the spectrum and told Vikings fans that they shouldn't have turned the ball over five times - but now they're all crying. The lack of self awareness is disturbing.
