They are stout against the run, so you need to throw it more. Their DB's aren't that amazing. We kind of had our way with them. Hell, without those missed FG's we would have won.

Personally, unless Morris changes the D radically, reverting to more deception a la Staley, I think the Bucs are going to move the ball at will.

On O it will be hard to run and Stafford will have to play perfectly against a good pass rush and D coordinator to keep up.

Hopefully both Morris and McVay have some tricks up their sleeve they have been reserving till now. If so, kudos to them, well played. If not, I think the Rams get beat in this one. . .

Shove Sony Michel right that fucking Bellicheats throat.

Thats how I wanna win this one.
I don’t know.

Tampa gave up the fewest rushing yards in the NFL last season, and its yards-per-rust average was the lowest in the League.

Through two games, the Bucs are giving-up just 3.0 yards per carry.

In last year’s victory, the Rams attempted more than 50 passes, and ran just around 20 times (for about 40 yards).

The Bucs can be beaten IF…

Rams tackle well.

Morris adjusts his schemes to tighten run D and more aggressive pass D. This is no time for that bend-don’t-break crap against Brady. If we go down, I’d rather do so with our six-guns blazing.

Pressure on Brady is a must. Sacks would be nice, but pressure is the key against Brady. Rams have personnel to do this. Just ask Wentz.

A solid game by ST would be huge. Fubars again against the Bucs would be fatal.

Our OL has been impressing me. Unleash Michel behind them and we might be pleasantly surprised.

Now is the time to open the entire playbook for Stafford. Any ‘’special’ plays McVay has should be used in this game. BTW, should Harris get a few targets? Would love to see him torturing that Buc back 7.

Rams are a very talented team and if they make few mistakes then they definitely have a shot here. It’s that simple.

Agreed, that goes back to my post that if we block their front 7 well in pass protection we'll have a shot. Their offense is going to score points on us, they are just that good and too talented not to. Our offense is going to need to abuse that secondary that's been reeling for the first two weeks. If we keep Stafford clean I feel confident in the defense making enough big plays to counter the offensive production Brady is likely to get to outscore them.

No... that's just what they're expecting us to do.
True, maybe if we wait until the last second to do so? Then they won't have time to respond. There.. done.

Very worrying game. I have serious concerns we can defend the Bucs competently.

Other side of the coin, is that Tampa Bay's secondary looks extremely exploitable. You have to think they're as worried about containing Kupp and company as we are about containing their threats.

We could be in for a shootout.

In as few words as possible:
1) Figure out a way to Score more than 31 points. Open up that playbook and put DJax/Atwell’s speed in play
2) Engage Higs
3) Get Donald some help and put that smug Mfer QB on his ass
4) Hold as much or more than they hold. Refs need to call it the same.
5) play error free ST
6) Lead at halftime and get that juju on our side

In last year’s victory, the Rams attempted more than 50 passes, and ran just around 20 times (for about 40 yards).

True but look at who started at RB for the Rams. Malcolm Brown and IMO both Michel and Funk are better. Also, last year the Rams were still running Kromer's high school run offense, i.e. strictly outside zone with a horizontal concept. Now the offense runs inside and outside zone and power gap.

The Rams have quietly added more speed on both sides of the ball. Jefferson played slower than he does now simply because he was a rookie thinking his way through plays. Now he's the legit deep threat I knew him to be. Also, when the offense is in 11 personnel I can see D Jack in the slot, Jefferson at X and Kupp at Z.

Funk has even more speed than Henderson. One missed tackle on a swing or screen and WTFO.

This is not the same team in many important ways. Allen is a much better inside blocker than Blythe as well as a better pass blocker. So with Michel over Brown this team is improved over last year at RB despite being down to their #3 & #4 RBs. Last year the Rams started Brown, then rotated Akers and Henderson for 40 yds between them. Frankly, I like Michel and Brown in this game over those 3. Vita Vea their NT didn't play last year and he's a monster, i.e. their version of Donald. He's going to take a double probably between Allen and Edwards to stop him.

I hope the Bucs think they will face the same Ram team because then it will be a rude surprise when they find it's not. The Bucs will be focused upon stopping Woods and Kupp who torched them all game long. That's why a strong run attack is what the Rams need. If McVay can get that run game going the Bucs will be in trouble.

Attack their secondary. We got the weapons… fire away. This is what we got Stafford for.

I will also say this, I suspect the Rams are not in awe of these Bucs and Tom Brady. The Rams know they can win this game and will come out with we’re winning this game attitude.

Its our house. Go do it, Rams!

They are giving up 27 points per game....
Go no huddle hurry up to tire their D and be more aggressive with our D to try and get off the field.
Win and take the over.

All three RBs were active and played in last year's game in Tampa.

Henderson had the most snaps with 33, followed by Brown (27) and Akers (12).

The Bucs were the #1 Run Defense in the NFL last year; and they have been rock solid through two games thus far.

I feel like the Rams lose this one and then go on like an 8 or 9 game blitzkrieg, similar to what happened after the Bucs lost to us a year ago.

Rams will get heavily tested and they need that at this point in the season.
