let’s use this game to see what other depth and talent we have. Wolford, Jefferson, Robinson, Xman, ???? I saw this year as s transition year that would show gradual improvement on the defense and RB situation. Didn’t see Goff regressing further or the STs becoming one of the leagues worst. While we will lose some key players to free agency I see a lot of young talent and depth on carrying over into next year. After watching game replays more closely we have to get a more powerful OC and add a quality starter at ILB. Not sure what to say about Goff but giving him an extra second in the pocket along with adding a legitimate deep threat/KR might do the trick. I’m over Blythe, Reynolds, Webster, Reeder and Ebukam. We need to keep Johnson. I would also like to keep 2 of Hill, Williams and Floyd. I also don’t see keeping Everett unless he has no other takers.

I'm actually approaching the game positively. I don't expect the bears at all to beat green bay so i don't feel a lot of pressure. Also, I am interested in seeing if Wolford can play really good since he's been in the system long enough to knows all the reads. His mobility might push us over the edge. With this Oline I really think it's our only hope this year. So yea, i'm expecting a playoff birth for better or worse and looking forward to Whitworth and Akers back for the run.

Now if we lose and the Bears win It will be like every other year when the season comes to an end and you feel like you got robbed. Then after a week or so you get back to getting stuff done that you been wanting to do.

I can visualize a 17-10 or 17-3 Rams win.

Conservative offense....thinking Wolf is limited.

Defensive score

it is a Ram tradition to knock a Card QB out of a game.

A brutal day for Murray...multiple sacks.

About 3 forced turnovers by Rams D; with their hair on fire.

Hair on fire tomorrow.

I am excited for John Wolford, and hope he does well for us as fans, and him personally.

As for the outcome of the game...I have no idea - it wouldn't be surprised if we won close, and it equally wouldn't surprise me if we got blown out and Wolford turned it over 3/4 times. Either way...I'm not stressing it.

Rams are gonna fuckin pound them. They'll set up a good run game and Wolford will run the offense just fine, the defense should be tough for the Cards to score on. IMO the Cards are ready to go home. I know they want to play spoiler and all vs a division rival but this is a game where I expect the Rams handle their shit and look great.

Hoping they win, disappointed if they lose.

We are going in short handed and missing some of our best players. Won't be easy to overcome. I expect Arizona to play with urgency, at least they ought to, the playoffs are on the line for them too.

It kinda reminds me of the bad ol days, when we were excited to see what we had in, oh let's say, Keith Null or someone like that. No expectations, just curiosity. I think the Wolf is better than pretty much every QB the Rams had during that hideous stench.... errrr I mean, stretch. Not sure why, as I have barely seen him play, but that bar was pretty much laying on the floor.

Oh, and yes.... I include Bradford in that group of suck :)

Get at me @-X- !!!!!

I'm not sure honestly. I dunno who this team is. And I'm not sure they do either. So I'm just watching. Almost like the beginning of 2017 again.
Exactly how I feel. Really beat some good teams and then came out flat and lost to some times that they had absolutely zero business losing too... And the teams identity is so iffy to me. Does our offense want to pound the ball or pass it 50 times a game? Who knows

I'm not all that optimistic about us winning. Too many key players out. Losing Brockers makes our defense not as deep on the line. Wolford sure coulda used Kupp for his first game ever. Akers is questionable but how effective can he be with that high ankle sprain?

I'll be watching our boys the whole game but with my eyes on the Packers/Bears game. I think that is our best chance to get in. I know backing in with 3 losses in a row is not the way you want to go to the playoffs. But its a new season and we'll have most our guys back.

I think we are going to handle business. I say our D steps up and shuts down the Cardinals and our O protects the ball and we win in a nice conservative game.

I’m interested to see who is returning punts. Personally, I would send 11 on punt block from now on. If they get it away, they get it away.

Gonna disagree here, it’s not like the Cardinals have been tearing it up, and that being said they have there own issues personnel wise

Brockers can be replaced for this game by Gaines or Ashawn, it would be nice to have Kupp however it’s not as if this Cards secondary are the scourge of the league

I also have a feeling Wolford just may step in and play very well

I guess we’ll see

I expect absolutely nothing, except maybe some good play by the defense. If we somehow pull out a win well at least we can say we made the playoffs but we won't be staying in long

I think our defense will approach this, as a game they have to take over.
A game they have to create and score off of turnovers.

Our Oline has to be able to move the Cardinals Dline because,
we have to be able to run the ball. Whether it's Cam or Malcom.

If we can do those two things we win.
That will put Wolford in a situation where all he has to do is
manage the offense.

Me personally I am very excited to watch Wolford.
I am hoping he plays well enough to light a fire
under Goff's ass.
Maybe put in a little doubt in Goff's head as to who should be starting.

Manage what offense? The only chance this team has is to turn Wolford loose....you know passes beyond 20 yards...a current missing ingredient the last half of this season.

Rooting for Wolford to show what he can do. Hope he shows enough to be a viable Plan B.
Concerned that he’ll miss having Kupp on those crucial third downs, though.

He may not have to rely on Kupp as Goff perpetually does....sometimes I think if Goff didn't have Kupp and McVay, he'd be riding the pine somewhere else.

Honestly, I'm approaching it as we will lose a very close game.
If we end up winning, it'll be a very nice gift. ( playoffs baby! )

However, with some of our players out with covid and injury, I do not expect to win. :(

Please be wrong. Please be wrong. Please be....

I'm also genuinely interested in seeing what Wolford plays like.
No, I don't think he can be a franchise QB, ever. But I can't help feel he can grow into slightly above average, slightly.
Still ... wanna see what this same offense is like with a more mobile QB.
