I knew Seattle's defense was going to be a problem because I knew MacDonald is that good as a defensive mind. But adding Kubiak to his staff was obviously a big upgrade.

I guess the good part is that I don't feel like Macdonald had McVay's number at all in previous matchups. I think it's a defense that McVay knows how to plan for.

What's shocking is just how clean Darnold has played. It's unbelievable... and now he's got two fast weapons in JSN and that Horton kid.

Dogfight for the division, for sure. I really hate the 9ers and need the Rams to go in there and take care of business.

And both are starting for the Rams' sterling top 5 defense.
