I see Hendy as the big play and passing game threat. Again he reminds me of Kamara. Dangerous and capable but if he's ramming into a stacked line it seems to wear him down. IMO he's the complimentary guy.

Akers is the guy they drafted to give them good success rate to move chains while also having some passing game threat. They talked about his ability to make the most of runs into heavy traffic and on his film you see him sustaining his level of play in that kind of usage. So I agree he'll end up getting most of the carries.

Brown is best when he's well rested off the bench and on runs where he takes what is there. When he dances around it's not his role so IMO the staff will get him back to that and if not he's going to see his snaps dry up.

Yea Akers and Henderson both offer something to the offense for sure, I just think as the season goes along and down the stretch heading into the playoffs, I wouldn't be shocked if Akers takes the reigns on the backfield. There is just nothing that Henderson does better than him IMO, and Akers offers more wiggle and ability to make people miss in space, whereas Henderson is more one cut and down hill slasher type. I do think both are starting level NFL RBs. Also Akers has hardly caught the ball thus far but has hands like a WR and can actually run a ton of routes. Its a good problem to have for us and I hope they both can stay healthy :hope:.

Wish I could condense the space on the above chart.

On offense, Jefferson got more reps this week. I have wondered why he was getting less in the past two weeks. Reynolds has been playing well. He is hard to tackle when he gets a chance. Akers coming back is great to see. The snap distribution among the RBs will be interesting to see develop. Looks like Everett has answered the questions about Mundt taking his snaps away, He needs to concentrate on catches and fumbles as he is hard to bring down and get lots of YAC. I enjoy watching him run with the ball

On defense, it looks like Long gave Hill some rest with his foot/ankle problem. It's nice to see depth players getting action. JLew getting 14 snaps was fantastic. He can really help the pass rush. Ebu loses count to him, Obo, Hollins and Polite. looks like a good thing. Hope he didn't get hurt as he is still a good depth player. Looks like they gave AD and Brokers got some extra snaps off this week to rest up for the whiners.

I like how things are developing. It's nice to see others getting experience. Hollins and JLew are upgrades on the edge. The defesne is coming along while the offense is getting revved up.

Look at Johnny Mundt's snaps. Our lowest scoring games are when he has extended playing time. Does that mean we don't pass enough in 12/13 personnel formations?

Or do we struggle running against those defensive fronts and the PA isn't affective as a result?

Perhaps the game plan was controlling the clock and we can air it out with him if we need to?

I just think we should limit being 1-dimensional with Johnny on the field before teams pick it up.

Yep, correlation does not equal causation. I thought it was noteworthy enough to point out and discuss. I agree that his snaps and the low scoring are a result of the ball control game plan.

We're in agreement here. The back with the best success rate is the one you want getting the most carries in this offense. And he's no slouch in the big play potential either.

AD's percentage was down 6% from his high and 4% from the previous week. That's not a lot but still down plus as you stated less defensive snaps.

Brockers played his second-lowest snap percentage 57% which followed his lowest 51% the previous week. That's 17, 8, and 9 % decreases from the first three weeks which is significant.

As far as the DBs goes. I only mentioned Long getting what appears to be some of Hills snaps. Long matched his totals from the first 4 games this past week. Considering Hills dealing with an injury issue it makes sense. Noteables were Rapp going back to low 20's% and Burgess back to 0% of snaps.

While typing this out I just checked on Obo and Fuller injury updates which were bad news. In my original post here and others I thought it was a good idea to get the inexperienced backups some snaps. Over the past two games many did get more snaps. Obo was showing good signs of making plays. Got run.
