A'Shawn Robinson got the start this week and up in snaps, the most he's played as a Ram

Floyd and Donald barely left the field

Season high snaps for Reeder and oh boy was it a let down

Higbee barley leaves the field, 91% for the year

Actually our starting offense barely rotates now

Nice to see Vann's snaps right up there with Woods & Kupp. He had a good day. DJax continues to get very low snaps. Looks like they went with Higgs 1 TE mostly. Rams appear to already miss Mundt's blocking with the low rushing effort plus being careful with Sony.

On Def Reeder gets majority of ILB snaps and I can't remember a LB with 2 picks early on the year being so bad in cvg, not to mention tackling. DD gets 2nd most CB snaps after Jalen. Robinson, ugh, don't know what to say about him other than I miss Brock there.

I'm guessing Robinson was given the playtime in hopes that he'd be motivated against his old Lions team. Unfortunately it didn't seem to help much. The Reeder thing is perplexing. Lions exploited him all game long. He has always been a huge liability in coverage and Lions went to that constantly with Swift. Would be a huge boom to this defense if Ernest Jones could show something over the season because ILB is still a weakness.

I think the plan with Reeder and Rob was to stop the run, that failed and exploited Reeders weaknesses. I'm absolutely on board with putting in Jones. A change at ILB and team tackling needs to improve befoe the Titans game

Yeah I hope our LBs and DBs aren’t afraid to hit Henry. Imagine Nick Scott getting ran over by Henry instead of Swift.

It's should be obvious for most who is our other starting corner. & its not David Long or Robert Rochell ..........Donte Deayon.

Looking at that list has me thinking about the trade deadline.

I'm not worried about the TE group, or as worried as most here because I think Harris can play and I think he just needs snaps. But if the Rams are concerned (which is likely given that they don't want to play their depth) there are options at the trade deadline like Ebron, who IMO isn't much better than just using a young player however if they go that route I get it.

Safety is another spot they really need help opposite Fuller. Scott plays hard and can do surprising things but snap to snap he's a meathead like Rapp. Once again here I would like to see them work Hughes in and give him a shot but clearly I'm not privy to the hows and whys he comes up short in the consideration. So this is the other position I could see them trying to make a move to improve but IMO they should trust me and stick Hughes in there opposite Fuller. :laugh3:

Corner is worrisome but we'll get DWill back. So not too concerned however if someone makes a corner available that the Rams have their eyes on I could see it. Of course Snead does such a good job tracking that stuff and keeping an eye on guys who he liked coming out that almost anything would be in play.

Lastly the returner job seems like a position you could fill via the trade deadline. Snead probably knows off the top of his head how many guys are potential trade options. Sure would be nice to not see them trotting valuable guys like Kupp out there to take unnecessary hits. That alone makes this a viable option.

Actually Rochelle got the start, and him being injured early on skews his snaps. Deayon is ahead of Long, and rightfully so.

It is time to see Earnest Jones in the middle!
Agreed. I wonder how good his grasp is of the scheme. But even if he doesn't have the full mastery of it I would stick his ass out there over Reeder at this point minus the green dot. I cannot take the missed tackles any longer.

I know Jones will make mistakes but he's also a sure tackler and will benefit us in some ways. He should be ready for December this way, if they put him out there starting this next weekend.

I can't remember where I saw it but I believe we allow less pressure out of five wide sets
Well, when they had a healthy Mundt it wouldnt have been something teams were expecting, or gamplan for, which would not be the case if we were to lose Higbee. Also would basically eliminate the rushing game. Not a good combo
