Yes very wrong

4 plays 5 and 3 plays 6.then winner of 4v5 plays 1 seed and winner of 3v6 plays 2 seed if I remembered that all right

No.

4 plays 5 and 3 plays 6.

Winner with the worst record plays 1 and better record plays 2.

Winner of each of those games play for the Conference Championship.

So if 4-5, say 4 wins.
3-6 and 6 wins.

6 plays 1 and 4 plays 2.

If 5 wins and 3 wins, then 5 v 1 and 3 v 2.

McVay : so guys we lost to saints in a game that was closer than the scores indicates so in my football geniusness I have a cunning to plan to lose just enough so we don’t get the second seed .... can I get a WOOOOO

Ummmm how bout no

Unless the Saints fall apart, we are going to end up #2 seed and have to face them again in NO in week 2 of the playoffs, not an ideal situation. Would we be better off as a 3rd seed and hope da Bears upset the Saints? Whoever the 4th seed is will be weak, Dallas? Vikings?

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer but NO scares me and I don't want to see us go one and out again.

Saints need to lose 1 game!!

Then as long as the Rams can beat the Bears, then they should be gold and will have home field.

Plus, getting the Saints here will be huge as we won't have to deal with a big traveling fan base since most Saints fans are afraid to fly as they have never been in a plane before.

Yes! Bears are the only formidable team left out of the 5 remaining games, unless you count the Eagles, but honestly, they suck!

But we've seen enough to know (most) teams haven't sucked as much as we wanted them to once we saw them!
Yes! And all those teams...wait for it...LOST!

Bears are an interesting match up.
Bye week comes at a good time.
Get some of the little injuries treated.
Get Talib back and hopefully tighten up the back end of the defense a bit.
Get Reynolds more reps in his role.
Chicago presents interesting challenges.
They have, like the Chiefs, a very good pass rush and DL. Rams have more fire power on O.
This Rams D doesn't need to be dominate.
After the game Samson said the goal of the D vs the Chiefs was to not allow big plays....massive fail in every way. That needs to be the goal week in and week out now.
Forcing four more punts a game makes the Rams team very, very hard to beat.

No. Dont play scared. We wanna be the best team we need to beat the best teams, not have others do the dirty work for us. I dont see the saints beating us twice.

I predict a 13-3 finish and 2 seed for NO. I don't fear any team outside of a Ram's team that stumbles into the playoffs. If Rams must lose another game I really hope it's prior to week 15. The importance of momentum can not be understated when talking playoffs. Saints remind me of the '98 Vikings. A team slayed by an inferior Falcons team @ the Metro Dome in NFC championship.
