He doesn’t fit a need...see a need fill a need. Square peg in a circle for the Rams. His mouth has deterred from his play and intelligence.

I guess there could be worse signings.

And bump to who ever mentioned NRC.

Like Jerry said, if he's inexpensive, why not? Personally, I think he's worth the cost of a Malcolm Butler, who went to the Cardinals.

With the loss of our 2nd corner & the fact that our 3rd corner Darious Williams is not a done deal yet due to him being an RFA that has just been tendered In addition to Snead's poor 2019 3rd rd selection, David Long has yet to show he is capable of playing in the NFL@ the Nickle or the outside corner posts ........... Yes, Rams could use a costly overpriced way past his prime CB to soak up all the extra salary cap fund just laying around in our salary cap bank floor.

Snead has demonstrated since 2012 that he does not have a clue how to draft DB's who can come in here & perform. Look what he had to pay just to get Ramsey here for half a season to the Jags in draft picks then turn around the next season & make him the highest-paid DB in order for him to remain a Ram.....

We can slide DWill inside. Sherman is still a top corner in this league, he was elected to the Pro Bowl two years ago. If we have the space, I'm all for it. Ramsey on one, Sherman on the other...wow!!!

Only if you want to win a Super Bowl.

Hate the dickhead but if heathy he can still shut sides of the field down for long stretches.

Gotta be priced right though we still have other needs.

His experience would be invaluable. We have good talent in the secondary but remember we just lost JJ's experience. I'd kick the tires in a depth role.

really on the fence here...

i think he's lost some of his upper echelon ability...

and as a ram fan, i really don't like the guy...

however, and again as a ram fan... i guess i could tolerate him, if he helps us win...

again however, i really don't like the guy...

and again, and again, and again....

go rams

Supposedly Snead was going to pick that corner from Georgia, if possible, a few years ago. The one that the Giants chose late in round 1. He got himself in trouble and wasn't very good before that. I don't know if he's even in the league.

But he found Darius Williams and Troy Hill. He sure has a knack for picking safeties too.

?

He was excellent for the Niners in 2019
With a safety over the top. You can't leave Sherm alone he'll get BBQ'd on deeper routes. He has to have someone backing him up.

Poole's a solid slot. NRC's a solid slot. Sign one of those guys or one of the others who are still available and call it done IMO.
