Woody wasn't good enough and still isn't, not for what he insisted on being paid. I do miss him but this is the price of what the Rams do.
Whether or not he's good enough is he better than ARob plus a 6th? As bad as Woods was last year he wasn't as bad as ARob who's literally been irrelevant. A complete waste of money. And who knows what Woods does the rest of the year if he didn't get hurt.

There were some of us that were treated like utter shit for questioning him last year and had our fandom questioned. Now it's ok I get it but last year the thought of questioning McVay and Snead was not acceptable around here. I will continue to say this little mantra all season long especially when people whine about the roster.

Yeah - I’m not going to be that guy. I did think it was a little heartless in what as Kupp calls him Bobby Trees.
IMO he wanted out & a new start. I think he was a little upset about how 2021 went down all together, except for The Rams winning the SuperBowl.
His dad died (I believe) after the 9ers win ?
Mcvay needs to eat some Campbell Soup with some pizza pizza,or a better combination.

I don't know. I just think we need to see a full season or most of one before we can really get into that.

So far, through 5 games

AR 12 catches for 102 yards

Woods 17 catches for 204

Woods is averaging about 40 yards per game for Titans

Yes, AR has been a disappointment, but Woods isn't setting world on fire in Tennessee

Love Bobby Trees, but I'm not sure he would've made much of a difference this year with our OL as bad as it's been

There’s a big difference in the offense of the Rams vs the titans.
Woods had pedestrian #s with the bills before he got to play in a McVay offense.

No, I’m fairly certain if Woods were still here he would be getting more targets than Robinson. Woods runs crisper routes and has better hands.

Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda.

It's too late now. I was so excited when the Rams signed Arob. I didn't expect him to be the invisible man in Stafford's eyes.

Mcvay has to make it work. By any means necessary. Just like he did for obj. He forced Stafford to force feed him. It wasn't pretty at the beginning. By the time the playoffs came round they had a great connection.

Use Arob.

Not sure if his hands are better but definitely a better route runner and gives a lot more effort and he was a hell of a blocker too. I think it was the Texans game last year Woods dropped like 3 easy passes .I know that was rare for Woods but it was definitely surprising.

I was surprised we let him walk. I was like wtf? He's always been clutch and solid for sure.
Here are some other WTF moments;
Letting Corbett go.
Letting Sony Michel go.
Letting Malcolm Brown go.
Drafting Tutu over a stud Center.
Just overall concentrating on flashy skill positions over the most important unit on your team, which would be the offensive line.

And yet we still won a Super Bowl....id trade all the above for a SB win.....

They need to package Akers and Robinson and trade them for some O- linemen.

I suspect Stafford builds confidence with the guys as he goes. I don't know that OBJ was someone they had to force Stafford to use, maybe that's true or maybe it isn't. But once OBJ hit a window of trust with him it unlocked that whole backside play threat.

Not sure what it will take for Stafford to get there with Robinson. Also Robinson isn't playing lights out so that may be part of it. Mentally he just looks to me like he's swimming in the playbook vs having it mastered. Even the announcers yesterday called him out on his route on that missed TD. He had the drop that was a TD the other game. I mean these are pro players who have to sort their shit out in order for the magic to happen.

Reason I'm being patient on this is because we don't have a choice. If they miss on this Robinson signing it's a big hit to the approach. They are already on a knife's edge in terms of talent level right now. We need Robinson in there balling. So for now I'm going to keep telling myself it's coming.

This OL is 2019 all over again. Fix the OL and this team returns to form. Trade for Corbett (they probably would take a 3rd round pick at most) and move Jackson to LG. Allen should be back after the bye to play C.

I still say they should play McCutcheon instead of Robinson right now.

These moves don't necessarily mean we wouldn't have won it all so not sure how you are connecting them. We are where we are tho..... Superbowl champs last year and playing like shit so far this year with a shit ton of injuries.

And one of those catches was a 40+ yd catch. And I too love trees and on that team he is borderline 1 or 1b.

Again even as fans we can't fall apart at the seams and start to tear apart moves after we have already eaten. Like the players this is the time to see what we made of too. We made the top of the mountain but realistically we know to stay there is a different game and the only thing left is to come down. The issue is the o-line and even for those people once again enjoying the Superbowl but making the little comments backhanded or otherwise about past quarterbacks it's absurdly selfish and just dumb. Stafford on pace to get sacked over 70 times at his age he might as well retire.

I've said it dozens of times I love Jared watch every lions game and root for him but his highest sacked total was 33 Stafford already over 20+ seasons not half over and he he is older as well as these sacks are some wicked just car accident collisions not because he holding the ball to long. We need help badly or seasons done putting it bluntly

The Giants have a better record cringe worthy!!!

Lol. Where do you come up with this stuff? Carolina just signed him this year, would take a dead cap hit of around 10 mill.

Robinson will be a fine #3 option but he isn't cutting it as a #2. Woods understood the offense and would get open ön time"."But Woods leaving was a salary cap issue (even though the dead money would be around Robinson's contract,,,,,,,)

But as an earlier poster pined......"Can he play guard or center...." That's our biggest problem right now.

Fair enough.
