There was a shooting last night in Thousand Oaks near the Rams practice facility near Cal Lutheran. I heard 12 people inside the bar died. RIP to all. I wonder if any of the players or coaches were in or near the area

Yeah. Some country dance bar in Thousand Oaks apparently filled with college students.

Is it true that some that were in the bar were also at the country and western festival in Vegas at the Mandalay Bay hotel??

I’m sure there was !! Freaking guns suck !! People say as all they want to about it , but just listening to neighbors talk about moving out of California because of basic fun laws.
Then talking to my girlfriend this morning that she thought her son was right there , or actually going there to get his friends. He has been going there every Wednesday Night since he was 18.
Then to her friend got shot in Vegas. I also play beach Volleyball with a guy & his girl friend that got shot. My girlfriends son was heading to Vegas, & something came up again. Those are 2 places her son was planning to go. Stagecoach this year closes with Jason Aldean.
I don’t see any Rams being there 12 am at a 18 & over night.

I hear you, brother. But guns exist. Can't put the genie back in the bottle.

Guns also save lives. Ask any single mom that looks over her shoulder as she takes the bus home from her night job.

Evil in the heart of man sucks. Teaching respect for life, and that every life has a purpose, is how I see it.

Prayers to all the hurting. Healing for our nation.

this is going to turn onto a heated debate soon.

Can we just keep our thoughts with the victims, the families, and the rest of the nation, and leave it at that.

This isnt the place to hash things out.

The NRA is a force for good.
If you are into guns I can see why you would think that.

I'm not into guns so I see them for what they have now become;

A lobbying group that spends three to four million dollars a year through all sorts of avenues to Members of Congress and State's Attorney Generals.
Their campaign war chests.
Dark money for campaign ads.
Fancy parties, golf and vacations.

Easily considered one of the biggest lobbying groups in the world.

The majority of these shooters are on prescribed mood altering drugs, usually started at a young age. It's actually criminal in my opinion the way these drugs are pushed in children.
Huge correlation between violent acts - including shootings - in all countries and the pushing of these drugs. And you want to talk about a huge lobbying group? Pharmaceuticals, health insurance, medical establishments and their attorneys are king makers.
