FWIW, I won both my Fantasy leagues this year, in one league my QB was Pat Mahomes and in the other we've been doing since 1996, it was Kirk Cousins....Does that make a QB Whisperer?

I think what Keenum gave Denver is pretty much what Keenum is.

It's funny how the Vikings thought they were only a qb away from winning the superbowl.

Last year they were a QB away from getting to the SB. This year they had the QB, but other parts degraded. Maybe they bounce back but in the NFL you never know. They actually had a schedule that was quite a bit easier this year versus last year too so I'm sure they look at this as lost opportunity and are scratching their heads.

Cousins is clearly far superior to Keenum, and had the team stayed on par with last year, especially the defense, they would have been in the playoffs easily and possibly had a bye week.

They have assembled some weapons on O and last year that D was absolutely ferocious. The Rams put up 38 on them this year, just 7 last year. I'm not sure what happened I don't follow that closely but they gave up 341 points this year with a softer schedule versus 252 last year. That's a big point differential.

If they get the D mostly back on track it'll be the Bears and Vikings coming out of the Black & Blue Division for the next few years. IMO the window has closed on the Packers, and the Lions are the Lions.

It's hard to compare the two situations, given that Case had more talent around him in Minnesota in 2017 vs. what he had in Denver in 2018.

Either way, I think he's a lot more mentally tough than Cousins, even if he lacks the same physical abilities.

The crazy thing is if you look at Cousins stats he had a Pro Bowl year. Almost the exact same year as Goff, this with almost no running game.

30 TD 10 int and 4298 yards.

Goff
32 TD 12 int 4688 yards

It’s the Minnesota Defense that fell apart. Lost Griffin for a long time. Lost Floyd all year and had injury’s in the secondary.

Cousins is the scapegoat the media is using. Notice how they point to Minnesota’s record and inability to make the playoffs but don’t even dare to mention Cousins stats.

It’s a QB friendly game. It’s easy to pad stats. The games might play out different. Him and thinPig were in a heated argument on the sidelines during the last game. That says a lot.

I do understand the allure of Diggs, Thielen and Rudolph, but Keenum was not stuck with a lousy situation, in fact it was pretty darned good.

Good stats... but, when the going gets tough, he's not reliable.

Dan Marino had good stats... great stats... HOF. Cousins isn't even half of a Marino.
