I need to take a closer look at Arroyo. He was impressive in the bowl game against Iowa State. I hadn't watched much of him before that.

I won't be at all upset if we draft Mbow, but if we do, it'll likely have to be in the first or second round. I think he's too gifted and too savvy to fall to the third.
Yeah I'm thinking 1st or a small trade back. Would likely want a free agent CB to take an OT with our first pick. The guy is good and has had a pretty impressive week.

I think Snead will be impressed with Jeff Bassa’s leadership skills this week.

Another good leader in this draft is Cody Simon.

One for Old School :)

I would love it if we drafted Lampkin and converted him to H back

I our scheme he could pick up a blitzer, act as a FB, help seal the edge

He’s unique

It would help if he can catch the ball but that would be a bonus. Can he block on the move? Hell yeh! He would be a force

Would you be opposed to using one of those 1st two selections in the trenches on defense?

I wouldn't. Make a strength even stronger.

I’d be fine with it. BPA. The rotation would be upgraded and the entire unit would be fresher all game.

The Rams seem to have developed a formula for drafting that involves things that are difficult for us fans to pick up on with limited info on draftable prospects.

-leadership, with the rest they had developed by the guy from Walk Street.

-Dawg mentality

-by default older players (I think leadership and maturity come with age)

These characteristics make it difficult to get a sense of who the Rams may pick. There are a whole lot of prospects that won’t fit what they want. Like last year they only had three main first round targets -Bowers, Murphy, and Verse. That they felt were reachable from their pick.

I don’t do mocks but if I were to put the time in, then I’d be trying to consider these factors when choosing the picks.

There are some great NT that I hope fall to us. Drafting an OT early entirely depends on FA.

I think the first pick has to be an impact player. Either OT, CB, or offensive threat.

I realize an interior d-lineman could be an impact player in that it could potentially make the defense an elite unit.

The second pick? I could see it though I think it’s likely we see an offensive piece there as well.
