I stopped caring *who* they picked years ago. Rather focus on *what* they are picking and how the players can help the team the next season and beyond.

Actually, you should blame John Shaw on that one. In 88 Robinson was set to take both Thurman Thomas and Michael Irvin, Shaw overrode him on both.......
Thanks, dont remember the history too well. I was always a fan of J Robinson. From the unknowing eye, all the players we did pick were handed to Chuck Knox in 92 anyway. Georgia tried to give Robinson more authority over personnel after the 90 season but it was too late. Shaw was a sneaky rat for sure.

Somewhere back about 12 years ago, Donnie Dion Avery, with the 33rd pick . That pick still hurts my head when I try to process it. I was right about that one. Different era, I know, but just a stroll down memory lane for how bad we used to draft.
I looked up what WR's were on the board when we went for Donnie. You never know. There were some other epic whiffs from other teams in that draft for WRs. Here were the few good ones that worked out.

I’ll be honest I wasn’t real happy we took Goff over Wentz. It’s not that I didn’t like Goff I just felt Wentz had everything to offer including running the ball. ( yes I know Running QB’s don’t work out) but they are exciting asf to watch!

Glad we went with Goff in the long run. Guy is pretty consistent but he pisses me the fuck off doing some bone headed shit have throwing like 8 dimes in a row....

The only pick I didn't like that sort of panned out for the Rams was Todd Gurley. It wasn't that I didn't think he'd be good though. It was more so that I don't like taking RBs so high, and I definitely don't like picking runningbacks with an ACL injury. I said sort of panned out because he was way better than I imagined but the past injury eventually reared its ugly head. So I was wrong and right.

2012 I liked Brockers, Trumaine Johnson and Chris Givens picks

2013 I liked the Sherman Bailey pick hated the rest

2014 I was okay with the Aaron Donald pick, like Mo Alexander and EJ GainesM

2015 I really liked Havenstein, Brown and Sichuan

2016 I loved the Goff pick, liked Higbee and Forrest

2017 I loved Cooper Kupp pick and JJ

2018. Liked Noteboom, Kizer, and Obo

2019 The only pick I really liked was Greg Gaines. It's early but this may be Shears best draft. He could possibly get 5 Starters out of it if they continue to improve. Evans, Edwards, Henderson, Rapp, and Gaines. But it's really early to call.

2020. My favorite picks are Burgess and Sloman.

Ditto.

I won’t forget that draft. The night we picked Gurley I was traveling for work... stayed that night in a hotel... I ate White Castle in my room. But I cannot tell you what city it was. Had to be Midwest. Lol.

Bet my room smelled good. (y)

I remember being STOKED when the Rams drafted James Laurinaitis...I thought he would be as good as Chris Speilman and Brian Urlacher......wrong.

I am terrified of self-reflection.

I a not only afraid of what I might find out, but I just don't want to know.

Why are you complicating my life!
