Some positives this game. We saw some new wrinkles on offense. Wagner had a good game. Tutu and Powell showed some stuff. But the defense was trash... when they needed to step up, they couldn't.
Need to take a hard look at personnel from top to bottom and get guys who can step up in all positions.

Geno Smith was 6th in the NFL in yardage coming into the game and the Seahawks were 4th in scoring.
AND.. the defense out there isn't great.

I thought Bobby Brown looked good in spots. Strong as hell. But he was going against Blythe.
So I’m reverting to my pre McVay philosophy. I was happy we were competing. I think we could have won, so I’m not terribly upset. We faired much better than I expected. Tutu should have been used more, he played quite well. I feel we were once again too conservative.
Really need that guy to grow up a bunch in next few weeks. He's gonna be needed next year.
I am so pissed we almost lost our draft position for a meaningless game.

Meh…this was the Seahawks’ superbowl. They don’t have the run game or defense to win in the playoffs. A healthy Stafford would have smoked their defense WITHOUT Kupp.
Hard to vent when I wasn't really expecting anything. And that is exactly what I got.
We need to figure out a way to get a 1st round pick next year and draft a difference maker.

I'm flipping on over to the Raiders Chargers game and hoping the Raiders beat the Chargers. In fact I want the Chargers to lose out, Staley to get fired so we can get him back as our DC.

With the team we fielded I didn't expect to win and we didn't. The result really wasn't important - still like to win though - we need to continue to sort out who can play and who can not - and cull the list.

bro you act like Morris is some proven great.... outside of last year his track record as a DC
in college he was a DC for Kstate.... defense was not good like 24ppg they gave up

I act like he's what he is.. the Rams DC and I've watched this defense.
You act like the Falcons had any defensive personnel last year. They didn't.
You act like the Rams don't have major limitations because of personnel this year. They do.
He' ain't great.. but when he's had the personnel, he's been very good. That's all I know.
If you think Vic Fangio is going to turn *this* bunch of players into a top 5 D, good for you. I don't think you'll find many people who watch the NFL closely who'll agree with you.
The defense is missing one starter...Donald. A big loss, but for crissakes they showed once again their late drive passive defense prevents wins.
Wolford has any kind of arm and we very likely win this game. Didn't expect a win coming in and am not upset about a loss. Good to see some of the younger guys doing well though.
