The defense was a train wreck today. The special teams as usual cost us points. And that was enough to defeat us, despite a great offensive effort. I remain pissed off that the refs threw that flag at the end on defensive holding after ignoring Seattle doing it all game. We didn't lose because of the refs, but that is the sort of shit that drives me nuts. If you're going to let them play, let them play. Don't change your mind in a pivotal moment, you jackass.

Regardless, props to Stafford, Puka, the OL, etc. for bringing it today. Defense and Shula, y'all let us down. Special teams, you are a joke. McVay and Snead, you need to go get some starting caliber CBs, a speedy ILB, and some core special teams guys this offseason.

Playoffs are the ultimate example of meritocracy. They are truly a beautiful thing to behold, even when you come up short. I appreciate this season, the players, and the staff. It was a great run, but unfortunately our shortcomings in the secondary finally caught up to us.

All the time in the world to argue over the next steps, but whatever they do it must include prioritizing the corners. Should have been done last offseason. This year it cost us. Also there will be an overhaul of teams, get a good leader in here who gives you an edge schematically, however what is more important is stacking the bottom of the roster with teams role players.

Here's hoping they load the defense up.

I don't know.

I watched the Vikings line up quite a bit with players in that A Gap and just the threat of a blitz seemed to hurry Darnold. Not sure we did it once. And I can't even name a Vikings CB.

3) I hate drafting secondary players high but really there is no choice. The player I think that could make a huge impact but probably is drafted before we pick is Caleb Downs Safety from Ohio St. Looks like a generational talent.

4) My hat is off to Sam Darnold didn't choke the game and we couldnt make I'm do it.

5) I see a rout upcoming in the SB. Sea Chickens gonna stomp a a mud hole in NE. Today was the actual SB.

5) At least Puka won me a couple bucks on Prize Picks. Thanks for helping numb the pain Puka.

I'm not sure anyone else has posted it yet, but it looks like Stafford will be back.
