I love that Sean goes in with an attack plan.

I remember running ladders and laps and such in sport playing days.

I'd always run with some kind of mental attack plan.

Say it was 10 ladders. I would run them counting up until I got to 50% then I would start counting down how many I had left.

Tried it this morning and did it with 15 seconds to spare. Wish I could raise my arms over my head...

Managed 38...quite shocked at that.
Try and hit 50 by the weekend.
I used to be ok at push ups..about 15 years ago though.

If I had to redo it I'd suggest going sets of 35, 20, 12, 9, 8, 8, 8 with rest and stretch of 10-15 seconds in between. Not sure on McVay saying he was going to hit three sets of 33. That's just impractical for most of us as your chest and arms get rubbery after about 60 reps.

If they don't, you're in great shape!
