No, now the story isn't Goff is a bust but deep down mcvay thinks he could get someone better. No matter what he says.

I've heard it too many times now. The fool began it and all the shit sites out there have regurgitated it.

Goff, never takes credit when he plays extraordinary and always puts the blame on himself when things go awry....Calm, cool, collected, never shows up his receivers and gets up after taking big hits...No Drama, just a player...I'm good with McVay/Goff for the next decade...What say you?

Yea i think Mcvay and Goff are a good match in that sense. McVy values humility and taking ownership even when it may not be your fault, and Jared has no issue being that type of leader.

You know it's all bullshit. They'll be publicly begging their GMs to lie, cheat, and steal for Goff the moment he's remotely available.

Music to my ears, Goff must’ve had a nice grin hearing that from coach! Man, McVay is a guy you’d go to war for any day of the week and twice on Sundays!

Well said Den - his attitude/demeanor is what I like best about him. Seen him pumped twice - once on the 4th and 1 vs Seattle, and the layup vs KC after the TD run. Wentz and Mahomes et al, may be more athletic and have more natural talent, but I'd take Goff over both of them.....

That was the look on my face when Patty threw interception number 2 and 3 against us in crunch time at the end of the game.

He is spectacular, and he took it to the Pats (unlike Goff), but took a small step back when he lost Hill and Hunt.
I just have a hard time heaping praise on QBs, who, through their incredible scrambling ability, ( e.g., oompa loompa), always find a receiver open (eventually). He does have an arm from hell though.

I've been rewatching the Dallas and NO playoff games - several times each - and Goff does have a ways to go, and will probably never be "elite", as in 1st tier, but he will also never be the reason (if and when) the Rams fail, but is/will be a huge part of their success.

That's just coach-speak. McVay can't wait to offload this draft bust system quarterback.

If I have to watch that left hand girlie throw one more I'm going to puke. Warner's was spectacular because he had two guys draped all over him (may have been one) and he had to actually pull it out of his right hand from between himself and the defender to throw a TD pass left handed. Huge difference.

You don't have to sell me on Kurt, it's the only QB Jersey I will ever don, however, and although I appreciate everyone's feedback, that Patty Mahomes IMO is special, but let's see how he handles not having Hill as Goff now has Cooper Kupp back.

I say that I TOTALLY Agree with you that I am good with McVay/Goff for the next decade!!! Just can’t imagine the Rams letting Goff get away!!! Goff AND McVay are definitely a WINNING COMBINATION!!!

It's pretty simple... if they didn't re-sign Goff.. who they going to get?

I love the comedy gold of florio saying he'd take Dak over Goff....

He lost all credibility as soon as he said that.... I don't know any Cowboys fans that don't think Dak is a problem.

I see Goff getting better and better like McVay stated. I see him processing information faster enabling him to make the right decisions quicker. I like McVay's penchant for longer deeper routes but, think using more quicker shorter routes would benefit Goff and the Rams. Goff has a great way of sliding in the pocket to get the extra split second for the deeper throws. Either way McVay knows Goff has all the traits needed to be a Super Bowl winning Quaterback.
