I wanted to revive this thread. So we hired Jay Gruden... And our offense has an outting probably the worst since we faced the Ravens two seasons ago.

Do we actually think his hiring is going to benefit the Rams? Because last night I saw an offense that looked stale and bland. I guess its hard to.run any scheme when you're getting blown up play after play.
It was ugly for sure but probably had nothing to do with Gruden. I don't even know that I'd blame Coen just yet, though he does share blame with all the staff from an ass kicking like that. Nobody gets out of that one without the stank. :laugh3:

It's impossible to know how good our game plan was. Impossible to know how we would've attacked their 2 high shell. The OL played so horribly it completely destroyed anything we wanted to do. They didn't stack the box at all, yet completely shut down our 1st down runs. They didn't rush more than 4 the entire game, not once blitz, yet got 7 sacks and 3 turnovers. It was a complete of an ass beating I've seen us take in years.

Agreed. Hard to comprehend that a team as talented as the Rams can get the absolute stuffing beaten out of them like that. It happened a few times last year as well, so we know they can overcome it, it's just weird. I don't recall many powerhouse teams taking ass whipping like that as much as these Rams.
