First off McVay was at a presser answering a question posed by a reporter and he seemlessly gives a general breakdown of the Bears offense in a specific and fluid way that not only shows he’s been studying these guys (the opposing players) forever, but is tracking their strengths and weaknesses. This is all a McVay general reaponse. I mean imagine the detail he doesn’t share with the media but his team only - i mean it’s gotta be vast. The thing about McVay all his players seem to love is his knowledge and his preparedness. The way he answers the question illustrates this wonderfully. The dude is a genius.

About Kanell:’
I bet you a million bucks McVay would be a genius in the booth as well. As a color commentator who would be better that’s out there today at breaking down the game? Imagine how great it would be to see McVay covering some obscure college football game, or a primetime NFL matchup - i bet that dude would enlighten you with his insight. So f off Kanell — get off my man McVay.

1 thing is for sure - if McVay retired today he’d be hired by CBS, FOX to be their A-list personality.

You can’t say that about Kanell - ye who’s ass unceremoniously canned by ESPN. Why not have fun with it instead of fronting

Aqib Talib won't be on a snap count vs. Chicago on Sunday

In his first game back from injured reserve, Aqib Talib was put on a snap count. He was on the field for just 26 plays in the Los Angeles Rams’ 30-16 win over the Detroit Lions, playing extremely well in limited action.

Sean McVay said it was the plan all along to ease Talib back into action after he missed eight straight games with an ankle injury. He checked off the first box and now Talib is ready to go full speed in Week 14 against Chicago.

On Thursday, McVay indicated that Talib won’t be on a snap limit this weekend and should be a full-go.Plan for Aqib Talib right now is full bore, no pitch count, according to #Rams HC Sean McVay

The Rams allowed just three first-half points against the Lions, which is when Talib was on the field most. Matthew Stafford had trouble moving the ball through the air and even though Talib didn’t break up any passes or make any spectacular plays, he provided lockdown coverage.

Now that he’ll be let loose on Sunday, the Rams’ secondary play should improve substantially. With tight coverage on the outside and Aaron Donald up front, expect more of a quick-passing game from Chicago.
