Yeah, it’s true that the division championship is all but over.
But the Seahawks are a legit wildcard candidate. And would be a very dangerous one, at that.
They’re a team that nobody wants to play right now, that’s for sure.
I agree, I think Carolina must beat the Saints to ensure they make the playoffs over the Vikings/Packers. I really don't see the Saints at 15-1. I amnot sure the Rams can go 15-1 with the Bears in the way in Chicago at 20-25 degrees max....not against that Defense....and The Bears can put up 31+ on the Rams it appears. Hardest game of the year----if Trubisky plays well.First of all - I DON’T like the Seahawks and was definitely NOT rooting for them today (Or, Any other Day!) but since they did win I am trying to get some kind of consolation out of it! And, The ONLY consolation that I can come up with is that this loss makes the Panthers games with the Saints that more crucial so maybe that will give them a little more of an edge (Not that they really need it!) when they play the Saints (Twice!) later this season!
Well, NO real Good News with this Seahawks win but I am trying to make myself feel a little better!
I would say that even if you win a game against the Seahawks you come out banged up more than most games.Yeah, it’s true that the division championship is all but over.

Which could be a reason not to have the #1 seed. Let them wear out the saints.I hate to admit it but Pete has put together an impressive season for the talent level. They may have no pro bowlers or 1-2 at the most.
With their schedule they are positioned to get a Wildcard and may get out of the first round vs the Bears or Cowboys.
I’m not sure where they got that idea from but you are correct. The best Seattle can do is 5th seed.Quick question?
How can Seattle get the three seed?
Pretty sure the division winners are 1-4 and the WC teams are 5-6.
Did that change?
Unless the deal was Seattle at 6 beating the 3 seed and then going to New Orleans...
I don't understand why people fear that team. Of all the teams in the running right now, I'd prefer to play Seattle.(not counting Washington because I think with Smith out, they won't be in the running much longer) When push comes to shove, Seattle has given us their best, and we still beat them both times. I look at a team like Minnesota that hasn't really fired on all cylinders this year, and I see them as more of a threat.
