I'm never a fan when media treads on athletes and religion since there's so much in locker rooms it's pretty arbitrary what stuff comes out and what stuff stays hidden, and who they decide to vilify or not. This one certainly reminded me of the Randall Cunningham "god cares if the Vikings win" days. I guess it sells for the lazy media to come back to it every once in a while. The Rams have their fair share, like William Hayes' disbelief in dinosaurs etc.: http://www.foxsports.com/midwest/st...illiam-hayes-that-mermaids-aren-t-real-121014

Im not religious at all, but I've always very respectful for anyone who is, no matter what faith or religion they believe in.
That being said, when I read something like that, I have to admit it drives me a bit crazy.

Thats pretty....weird. Also ill advised to go round saying stuff like that. People either think hes nutz, lying or an egotistical douchebag.

Or, all o' the above...I really thought he was a mellow down-to earth kind of guy until I've started to read some stuff lately that makes me think otherwise..Like the "I want to be the highest paid player in the NFL"...(At least I think I saw that someplace...If I'm wrong, I apologize to the nutcase, lying, egotistical douchebag)

I like Wilson. He seems like an admirable guy. But when I read this story it bordered on "weird".
My thoughts as well.
So basically, God doesn't care at all about the other 52 team members and coaches?
Sounds like more of a superiority complex, than a strong faith in a higher power.
