Ok. My knowledge of space may be a bit off. If the ball had hit the inside of the pylon, I could see it being a touchback. But the outward facing side is entirely out of bounds. Therefor, the ball should have been out of bounds before entering the endzone. How can they say the ball was fumbled through the end zone, when it is out of the field of play before getting to the endzone?
