Remember the Seahawks from the 80s? Largent, Warner, Krueger, Zorn, etc. Not that I liked them, but I didn’t hate them like I do now. Of course they were AFC then. But I really hate them now.

Count me in as a Rams fans that think this will be a very tough game.

I still think the Rams win. Better QB. Better coach. Better defensive line. That usually translates to W.

But Adams is gimpy. Turner is gimpy. There is zero way our CBs can cover their WRs IMO, and particularly JSN, if we don't get pressure - and our defensive line is far from playing their best football right now in terms of getting to the QB. We had 0 sacks vs. SF, and what felt like 0 pressure to me, but apparently we did have a grand total of 1 pressure. I'd like to see the replay of it - because I suspect it was generously scored, nobody was ever even close to Mac Jones. Darnold is a QB you can rattle, we saw that with Minnesota last year in the playoffs, but Seattle's o-line even if exploitable is better than what the Vikings trotted out last year and doubly so once Minny had LT injuries. Their team speed is terrific. And rest assured they will have some plays drawn up for Shaheed this week who I sneak is a very good addition that somehow is getting no attention. Kupp is maybe thier WR4 now, which is ridiculous. They have two very capable RBs, even though their running game has been underwhelming. They're well coached.

I think Seattle's roster is about as good as anyone's in the NFC. Rams, Seahawks, Eagles, and Lions are all roughly equal. But I think LA's odds best, given the QB and coaching advantage vs. all of those teams.

This will be a really tough contest IMO.
I wouldn't be too concerned with the fact that we only had one pass rush pressure against 'Frisco. Their head coach is Sean's old coaching buddy who knows he has to have his QB's get rid of the ball in a heartbeat for his offense to strive. Plus, some of our D guys were struggling with a few aches & pains at the time. Now that the Soul Stealer is officially synching with Devante and getting in gear with young Terrance Ferguson and the other TEs, who is gonna handle us when we are rested and raring to go?

I do NOT want to underscore this game. After all, it is a divisional game, and no teams know us better than our divisional goes. So these games are always expected to go down to the wire. However, WE KNOW THEM better than any other non-divisional team too; so it all comes down to strategy and execution.

Rams have a tough, tough schedule compared to some other playoff-bound squads, but also the capacity to control their own destiny. If we can hang a loss or two on a few of these fellow contenders, we can put ourselves in a good spot in terms of seeding. We will definitely be battle-tested against several probable playoff opponents.

Hope Bills can hang on, and maybe Lions take down Eagles tonight.
