With Drew Lock entrenched as their backup (and a pretty good one as far backups go) that would be the ONLY reason they signed him. Fuck Shitattle, I hope it's a rerun of game 1 when they were expected to blow us off the field and got their dicks handed to them. I'm actually from Washington state (since moved across the country) and have always hated the Seahawks with every fiber of my soul.
Washington state... is a good place to be FROM.... :laugh1:
Though, I am still here... :crying:

Well however it goes the Hawks game should reveal a lot about how competitive the Rams are going to be down the stretch. A win would be huge. Stafford passed the ball really well in the first one. Running game was rough, 40 carries for 92 yards. Of course Akers had his 22 for 29 gem of a game so that really skewed the rushing numbers. No idea how this game is going to go.

The Rams have surprised me all year.

I feel like we’re going to get smoked Sunday.

So good news for us!

If Stafford is up to form and not just "claiming" his hand is okay like he BS'd his way through his tendonitis issue, this is a winnable game. I think the offense can over match the Seahawk defense. Sean has to start Freeman at RB. If he rolls out the smurf again it's going to be a long day. Freeman can back that front 7 off and open the intermediate zones. Play action can work if Sean sticks to a power run scheme. They can run behind Avila.

Kupp and Nacua will be too much for their secondary. If the Rams lose it will be because of the defense. If Morris plays soft it will cost them. With Durant down they need to play Tomlinson or Ojemudia opposite Witherspoon. They need to keep DK on the bench or he will give up a crucial TD or PI maybe both. DK is a PI waiting to happen. Morris needs to scrap the read react shit. If he does the front 7 can play fast and they can pressure Geno.

The Rams need to steal a couple of games his second half. They need to win this game and against a surprisingly improved Cleveland. The Browns defense is the heart of their team and the Rams have enough offensive fire power to win that game. IMO Seattle and the Cleveland game are the two that will mean a winning or losing record. Take them both and this team probably makes the wildcard.

Bud, don’t make me break out another Dr Seuss poem about Smurf vs unproven Freeman!

On a serious note, I’d actually like to see McVay TRY this. If nothing else, just to see if there is any truth to your blind faith.

On the heels of @AvengerRam topic on Bing’s Image Creator, I asked Bing for a game plan for this week’s game.

According to Bing:

“Here is a short game plan for the Rams:
  • Offense: The Rams should focus on their passing game, as the Seahawks’ secondary is relatively inexperienced. They should also try to establish a running game early on to keep the Seahawks’ defense honest. The Rams’ offensive line will need to protect the quarterback from the Seahawks’ pass rush, which is one of the best in the league.
  • Defense: The Rams’ defense should focus on stopping the Seahawks’ running game, which is one of the best in the league. They should also try to put pressure on the Seahawks’ quarterback to force him into making mistakes. The Rams’ secondary will need to be disciplined and not give up any big plays.
  • Special Teams: The Rams’ special teams will need to be on their game, as the Seahawks have one of the best return games in the league. They will need to make sure they don’t give up any big returns and try to create some good field position for the offense.
Please note that this is a general game plan and the actual game strategy may differ based on the team’s performance and other factors.”

People saying the defense has to do such and such, but the offense is why we can't win games. It's putrid. They just don't score points. Aside from 8 quarters earlier in the season, it has been just awful to watch, so I stopped watching. Unfortunately I don't see that changing anytime soon.

And before anyone starts saying "but we have injuries!", save it. Every team has injuries. The Rams do not have the talent or depth to overcome injuries, much less stubborn coaching AND injuries. Sorry for being pissy, I just don't have much faith in the Rams this season. I'm just hoping they have another good draft and can be respectable again soon.

A win would feel amazing and with Watson out, our next two after this are very winnable.

A loss and our season is over, which would be somewhat of a relief and for the first in a while, we can truly turn our attention to the draft.

I obviously prefer the former, but either way, we'll have an idea of how this season might go on Sunday.

Exactly...
WINS have average a score of 28 points....
Loses are averaging a score of 15 points....

I would say this game should tell us a lot about our team. But I think the last 3 games told us all we need to know. They hung tough for the first 6 games. But the lack of talent started catching up to them. Sometimes a talent deficient team takes a few games for that to show up.

Color me skeptical, a pessimist, negative or whatever. But I don't see us winning this one. I think we're probably gonna end up with double digit losses. We can't handle the better pass rush defenses. And our defense breaks down in the second half. Its just my opinion. I hope I'm wrong.

I bought a pizza oven from my neighbor and I'm thinking of making a pizza for the game. I've never done this before so wish me luck.
