Pead's status will likely be sorted out within the next 5 weeks
Pead is safe...he did a team friendly restructure....Watts is in trouble....And if I had my way, Chase Reynolds...
Pead is a gunner, kick off returner, back up RB, 3rd down back, pass blocks better than most of them, has more speed than all of them...Coming off an injury...And the coach brings up his name in interviews...what else says, on the team more than all these things combined?

I actually live in Westminster/Fountain Valley, of course I meant 10W:confused:

Lived here my entire life but doubt I've used the 405N/10W interchange more than a handful of times, I HATE TRAFFIC (what the hell am I living here for:D)

While I've taken the 90 to the Coast (Lincoln) I have never gone far enough North on Hwy 1 to SM, wouldn't mind giving it a shot, Tuesday practice ("we're talking practice") begins around 4, better leave OC around 11, I can always find a watering hole.
take Lincoln to Washington Blvd (turn left - South/West), then goto the end and take a right on Pacific Ave. Will take u thru Venice and onto SM where you can get a ramp down to PCH. I think this should be the least of amt of traffic, but you never know.

Disagree that Pead is safe, Champ.

On many levels. Unless he has compromising photos of Fisher, or something.

Our 3rd string RB, Cunningham, has had GAMES with more rushing yardage than Pead has had in his 3 year CAREER.

I've been re watching some games, and Watts is frequently seen making key plays, often for critical 1st downs. I think that's important to Fisher, so I wouldn't discount Watts so quickly.

Cunningham is a better KR than Pead.
I think BC is a better 3rd down back than Pead, and with 2 years of on field production to prove it.
Pass blocking is no longer a Pead advantage. Gurley, Mason, and Cunningham all now can do it.
Speed is no big Pead advantage, either. All 4 other backs have plenty of speed, and have proven it on the field.
Coming off the ACL is hardly a Pead advantage, is it? Quite the contrary.
You point out that Fisher is constantly mentioning Pead in interviews. Isn't it possible that Fisher intends to showcase Pead to enhance a trade offer possibility?

Like I said to @iced, unless Pead blows the doors off in this preseason, I think he's a goner.

He's our 4th string RB and is very replaceable on ST.

Ah yeah, used to grocery shop off VV and Lampson (when it was a Vons a few years back) I'm between Magnolia and Brookhurst off the 405, hoping to make the Tuesday practice

Never been to Oxnard either..I hate the Cowboys, and the Raiders burned us in '94...not cool with them either..My nephew went last year I believe...And told me how Morris Claireborn was getting abused by DEz
While I agree Pead is more than likely going to get cut but they dude isn't worth shit as far as trade bait. With that being said I thought Snead trading Bradford with his contract and injury history was impossible! lol
As it stands right now I'd be very surprised if we got a 6th rounder or higher. Dude is really our first major bust of the Snead/Fisher era.
