Kurt Warner showed up twice on our list of 25 best NFL playoff performances.

Was that enough?

I've given Warner his due in the latest NFC West "Blogger Blitz" segment above.

The chart shows Warner's postseason stats. His St. Louis Rams and Arizona Cardinals posted a combined 9-4 record in postseason when Warner started. Warner's overall stats would be very good for a full regular season.

I still vividly remember that 2009 game against Green Bay. Warner was on FIRE. Threw more touchdowns then incompletions. UNBELIEVABLE!!

Sure does make you wonder. He played more games for Arizona, and I wonder if he thinks he was treated better by the Cardinals?

Hey man. I'm fine with all of it but don't want him getting into trouble. Maybe he can just be the messenger. :sly:

The only HoF that a player goes in with a team is the MLB HoF.

NFL, NBA, and NHL don't have a player go in with a team.

What do you believe to be the bigger accomplishment? Taking the Rams to the Superbowl or the Cardinals?

Tough call. I think Trent Green could have taken the 99 Rams to the Superbowl too. Even though it was preseason, he was surgical with that team before he got injured. And he had a good deal of experience. That team was just overloaded with talent. Taking the Cardinals to the Superbowl, I think, is the bigger accomplishment because they had never been to one before his arrival.

While I agree that taking the Cardinals to the SB wasthe greater accomplishment ,I disagree thatTrent Green would have taken the Rams to the SB EITHER time, to the conference champioship game? probably, but I don't think Green would have won either of those conference championships they were BOTH just more IMO than Trent's slight body would have born up under,Kurt was so tough, so good, so durable IT'S STILL difficult to grasp .

IMO it's sad he only has one ring .

Yeah - I was going to mention something like that but wasn't positive.

Kurt Warner is the only reason why I don't hate the Cardinals. And honestly if he didn't face the Steelers, I probably would've rooted for the Cardinals that year.
