Do you have an Iphone? - sorry dieter - it doesn't fucking work.

freaking liar, you're 18 months old.

Hey, I open my eyes and see this phone....no one else is around, I'm buzzed and the phone is 8 years old so I must have been using it. I already know what you want to ask....yes at birth I was told I was holding my phone and my boner. Satisfied?

Holy crap. You're right! You have to select individually. What garbage

Found a way:

Open email inbox
Pick any email ("Move" becomes an option at the bottom)
While holding (fingering?) "Move", unmark the item at the same time
Then you have the option of moving ALL the emails in the inbox (to "Trash, for instance)
Then delete all in the trash box

Easy Peasy - (to quote a smart guy)!
Even works on my old ipad 2.

I'm waiting for the Note 8, which comes out sometime this year.

Okay... I got to play with one today. Beautiful phone! Wow.

It's my first extended time with the curved edges, not sure I like that, however. I was browsing some web sites and found the curved edge distorts the first letter on every paragraph. Maybe I'd get used to it, but it made those first letters hard to read, IMO.

.

Just wondering how much you guys pay for phones in America. Here in australia the latest Samsung or iPhone will cost us $90 per month on a 2 year contract. We always take it up the arse. I hate all multi national companies.

To buy either phone outright is $1,200. Then to get any Sim only plan worthwhile is about $50 per month.

Can't win.

I think it's kind of peculiar that 3 days after I start checking out new phones on the Verizon web site my current S5 decides to start acting funny..telling me incompatible charger, cant charge the phone, and in order to use power sharing I have to download some app.

Right now I am at 15% battery and can't charge my phone

Fuck Verizon in the ass with a red hot poker.

They offered a deal where if you pre ordered the 8 you got the VR gear free. The offer was good until the 21st originally. I was not keen on the upgrade because it requires 30-35 per month for two years. That's ridiculous IMO since I could buy TWO laptops with that kind of money. But the free vr gear made it more palatable.

Well Friday I went in and found out the super duper tiny small print. "While supplies last". And they only lasted until the 20th. I was out of luck and when I said something even the manager agreed but there was nothing he could do. After a little back and forth I decided to stay with my 5, which is fine anyway, for a little while because I'm sure the price of the phone will come down a bit.

@CGI_Ram I played with the 8 and the 8+ in the store and I'm not enamored with the curved edge either but everyone I know that has the 6 or 7 with the curve loves it. The screen on the 8's is amazing, the cleanest crispest and richest I've ever seen. It's fast and has some good features like the little tab on the side you can flick out. But I'm not forking over $720 or $840.

Verizon was just forced to offer unlimited data because they have lost a lot of customers to competitors who are offering it at pretty low prices. They may lose me in the near future. I'm pretty sure the big 4 cell companies all have pretty much equally good/bad service.

My girlfriend has a 6 with the edges like that, she likes it, I don't. I got a normal 7 and I love it.

Just picked mine up and finished setting it up the way I wanted

About 300,000 this quarter. That's a lot of market share.

Verizon are proverbial profit margin prostitutes. And now they're looking at acquiring Charter ... to what end I wonder? They sold off their landline to Frontier not long ago. Meanwhile AT&T diversifies with DirectTV. One project with AT&T feels like death by a thousands cuts due to an overly myopic and resultingly uncoordinated approach. But they at least realize a positive result for their efforts through market share and competitive pricing.

This S8 is like a great pair of boobies..just cant stop playing with it !!

Just got mine today. Loved how easy it was to transfer all data over from the s6.

The only fiddly part was the music. Couldn't find it on the phone. I found it in the files but couldn't get it up. Just had to install the Samsung music app. Can't believe they make you manually download it now. No, we don't all want to use Google play.

All my Internet favourites and passwords transfered. Didn't have to change a thing. Love it.
