All teams use signs on the sidelines to tell players what personnel they are in. While it doesnt necessarily tell you what play is going to be called it does tell you what formation the team is going to be in on the next play. I assume every team has a guy in the box looking at the signals to tell their dcoord so they can get their substitutions in at a faster pace.

It's part of the reason why teams self scout all the time, to see if they are leaving something on the field that is tipping their hands to opposing teams. IE 2001 spygate. Teams had ear pieces but the rams were hand signaling in plays that tipped their hands to opposing defenses.

There are tons of ways teams try to get the upper hand. Grey area cheating is one of them

I read it as a grudging compliment that used loaded terms. If it's "legal" to take note of visible personnel grouping signals and factor that into your play calling (in real time), then you probably shouldn't call it "stealing".

I understand both sides. I don't think it's a big deal, but Coen took it personally and then Saleh acted the fool when confronted.

Who would've believed it... Liam came from the McSlay tree and acted with intelligence and class while not standing for any bullshit. Then took the high road when the media dumpster divers pushed for him to share the drama.

Saleh who did not come from the McSlay tree acted like a classless idiot and threatened violence when he was made to look like a stupid caveman in public.
