That’s a tough blow.

Gonna put more pressure on Kamara and Ginn

Heard the left side of the Saints O-line is pretty banged up also. Need to take advantage of these match ups

Not much of a weapon since the Rams game (10 rec/120 yds/0 TD) but he did some damage against the Rams (3 rec/62 yds/1 TD). Probably brought some leadership to the field as well.

I heard that he was a good and willing blocker, which is where his value is/was. We must make Drew Brees pay for Watson being out and a Guard blocking with a broken hand....You hear me AD and Suh?

Keith Kirkwood out for Saints, Rams report no injuries
Posted by Josh Alper on January 18, 2019

The Saints handed out two injury designations for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Rams, which means they are in pretty good shape from a health standpoint.

The Rams are in even better shape. They listed no players on their injury reports Wednesday or Thursday and they continued to have all hands on deck Friday. Head coach Sean McVay said on Friday, via Joe Curley of the Ventura County Star, that being healthy is “a huge advantage for us and something we certainly don’t take for granted.”

The Saints will play without wide receiver Keith Kirkwood as he’s been ruled out after missing a third straight day of practice with a calf injury. He had two catches for eight yards and scored the team’s first touchdown against the Eagles last weekend.

I kinda like (dont hate excessively) the Saints and I am in Baton Rouge this weekend, lots of good folks down here.

So, thinking about all their injuries and being the sympathetic guy... I hope we slaughter them, send their fans home crying and the loss causes someone to be fired (Payton, preferably) for allowing such a total beatdown.

Time for playoff Josh Hill and Dan Arnold to step their games up.

Kirkwood hurts, but none of these guys were real receiving threats, they were both more run blockers. We will still get that out of Josh Hill.

Watson is a great great guy, sorry to hear for his sake that he's going to miss this game

That guy has a career in politics or as a lobbyist after this is all over. He is a conservative Democrat, or a moderate Republican. Either way the fringes don’t like him, but the sane people do.

It’s true, the Rams DL and DBs are solid, but Brees will exploit the middle with Kamara and Thomas.

You stop him, you win the game.

Well the way our defense tends to play against TEs I think you could grab an effin cabby off the streets and he'd get at least 3 catches for 50. Bad deal for Watson, but I don't think his loss really affects things too much.

Saints WR Kirkwood has been ruled out of the NFC Championship game with a calf injury. Kirkwood had the 2nd most snaps at WR last week, second to Thomas.

DT Rankins out, TE Watson out, now WR Kirkwood out? In addition to the 3 beat-up guys on the OL? Saints have a big advantage at the Dome, but now Rams have a big advantage on the injury front.

None of that bodes well for the Saints, especially the guys playing hurt. The stars are aligning for the Rams this Sunday!
