So why did I post this?

Simple. As most of you know, I enjoy going to the opposing teams' forums and chatting it up. Never have I once made a derogatory or verbal personal insult to anyone on any of these forums. As you can tell, the Mods over at this forum are not guys of integrity. Hence, "Jerk rule" (major) infraction ... :rolllaugh:

You have received a warning from the Staff... which is actually a ban.

Point is this: if any of you were intending to go join this board, don't waste your time at this particular one.

now why would I do that?

1) Not a Saints fan
2) Dont host or broadcast (or whatever it is called) any kind of podcast
3) Already a member of the best fan forum on the net

What did you say? The moderators over there are great folks (and I have been levied infraction points before, and allowed back on). I can imagine that around game time things can get heated (see the Ditka posters thread), but they don’t do those things without reason.

Now you want to know a crap fan forum? Go try any of the Eagles fan forums.

He doesn't say anything inflammatory that I have ever seen while visiting other teams forums, as we have been on the 49ers, Hawks, and I think the Cards forums together. He is less spicy than I am, so I doubt he said anything worse than you have said here.

Hahaha. I can’t imagine Eagles. I honestly didn’t say anything that was out of line. So I honestly can’t answer that

I am like you. I enjoy visiting fan forums (like here) and listening to local sports radio for rival teams, but I have heard less about the Rams on ESPN radio LA, and more about the Lakers. What gives? Where can I hear good Rams talk?

Rams Podcasts and probably New Orleans sports talk...Pretty freakin sad, because LA sucks at sports talk on the radio.

Listening to Philly sports last week was maddening because the guys were such homers and really driving one of 3 narratives:
1) Big Dick Nick is going to save the day
2) Big Dick Nick is the x-factor
3) The Saints ran up the score last time

NOLA Sports radio isn’t much better but if you are listening to Zach and Deuce they are more practical than most, and are like the common man who is expecting a very tight game (and they don’t wear the Black and Gold glasses).

LA is such a big market, how do the Rams in the NFC Title game get relegated to the backseat to a meh Lakers team?

Because the Lakers are an LA institution, followed by the Dodgers....Make no mistake, LA stations will always talk Lakers when they have nothing else to talk about.

I disagree about the Philly stations (especially The Fanatic). They are homerific, but they are first and foremost an Iggle town. They talk Eagles when there is little else to talk about, like LA does with the Lakers.

Unless the Lakers are in the post-season, LA is totally and completely a DODGER town. It's not really close.

It took multiple championships and someone with Magic Johnson's star power to also be seriously included in the conversation.

The LA Kings won the Stanley Cup and they still aren't part of the conversation. Not really. LA will talk about a 60-102 Dodger team over a championship Kings team.

And that's why even with the Rams return, if you KNOW Los Angeles at all, you'd know how amazing it is for the Rams to be in the conversation AT ALL.

If Fisher were still the coach, we STILL wouldn't be in the conversation not only because we wouldn't be in the playoffs, but because it was just not a good match.

It also illustrates what an amazing job Sean McVay and the FO have done because many of the old LA Rams fans came back which many vowed to never do. That culture change has even warmed the often apathetic hearts of my fellow Angelenos (I may live in FL, but I'll always be an Angeleno at heart).

Not on ESPN LA, bro...Maybe on AM570...Laker coverage dominates everything, and it's sickening

I do miss hearing Rams radio out of STL. At least I knew there'd always be something to hear. It was great streaming it throughout the work day and during the evening commute.

Mighty 1090 AM (app) is pretty good with Rams coverage. They are the former Chargers station ironically.
