I don't know, maybe I shouldn't be, but the way that half ended just pisses me off. We let this type of stuff happen, every single game. And it is going to come back to hurt us at some point.

It's amazing isn't it. Negative plays can string together and build with a life of their own just like good plays. Allen needs to take a back seat to the kid now.

I suspect he tried to kick it over him to the right side of the post. Not saying it was a good call, but kickers do anticipate the rush when there's a free runner and he made a decision.

Bigger problem was the free runner. I've seen enough of Karty, dude is already in my doghouse. But the scheming is second class at best by the ST staff which makes me question how much of that is affecting the kicker.

Right, no where to hit him then. Barely grazes the head there. Goes low, penalty for the knees. Goes middle, penalty because he falls with his weight on him.

Honestly have no idea what it should be but after watching 4 or 5 times Karty hesitates and the edge gets there very quickly. Neither part of the operation seemed effecint enough

But we've never had this many kicking issues since I've watched this team. It's unreal, really.
Hate to say it, but I vote for a new kicker altogether.

Evans almost had a punt blocked earlier too. Something is a mess with Special Teams.

Nothing like f#cking with your place kicker than have guys baring down on him practically every kick.

We're still up two scores with the ball to start the second half. Everything went south with the FG miss, but we have played well overall.

Wild, though, how much of football is momentum. We go up 23-3 and make them start with a return, the game would have had a different feel. Miss that kick, give them better position and more energy/hope.

Just need to come out and take that momentum back.

The NFL could learn something just by watching the evolution of the NBA from the 90’s to today. Increase the scoring, nerf the defense, protect the stars. The NBA started that trajectory before the NFL did and the NBA is losing viewers and fans in droves.

Without a doubt. I am so fucking tired of the refs overprotecting QBs, it is absurd. If you want to say this is no longer tackle football then just get it over with so I can tune out. I have no desire to watch that shit. It's why I haven't watched the NBA in years.
