I like Russell, and he deserves a good payday---much more than his counterpart in 'Frisco. :sneaky: His first game against us this past season was the best I have ever seen him play against us---a truly inspiring effort, even though we won.

Lets see...Russell Wilson is working without 2014 starting high cost UFA's $$$$ WR's Golden Taint & Percy Havin along with starting TE Zack Miller who was injured ....but Wilson makes WR's Doug Baldwin & Jermaine Kearse along with TE Luke Wilson look even better as their replacements? IMO Wilson is a legit bona fide up & coming star that the Rams will be worried about for many years to come.

I hope his contracts puts a strangehold on their cap. A real stranglehold.

Wilson's legs are still one crap away...that tiny dude can't keep it up forever can he?
I sure wouldn't hold on to hope that he can't.

I also wouldn't rest my hopes on him failing like Kaepernick.

Still, Seattle finally paying him means that they will be faced with cap issues elsewhere, and that's something that I can get happy about :)

Dr Evil: Mr. President, after I destroy Washington D.C... I will destroy another major city every hour on the hour. That is, unless, of course, you pay me...
[emphasis]
Dr. Evil: one hundred billion dollars.
The President: [bursts with laughter] Dr. Evil, this is 1969! That amount of money doesn't even exist.
[laughing]
The President: That's like saying,
[with changed voice]
The President: "I want a kajillion bajillion dollars."

The day the rest of the league has been waiting for, even more so our division. They have been lucky these last few years to be paying next to nothing for good to great qb play. Now they will be forced to manage their cap like all the other teams paying top dollar for their qb. Going to be hard for Seattle to keep the core of their team together for much longer. Also, they can't keep hitting on late round picks like they have been lately forever.

I just don't understand how people can continue to call this kid overrated. He may very well end up with two Lombardi's before his rookie contraxt is even UP. In that span, wthe Rams have shelled out... Oh dear lord, I don't even want to know how much $ for "starting qb services". Is there anyone on here that would honestly take Bradford/Clemons/Hill AND Davis over Wilson?
