Rumour - Bruce Allen to Rams as 'consultant'

I hear he may only be a consultant on the business side of things but it still scares me that he may get some input on the football side once he gets in.

The key here is whether the Rams envision him in a major role. I would hope they're smarter than that.

IMO these rumors might be related to guys like Foolio connecting the dots wrt the relationship. OR maybe the Rams have been making calls to see about who will be jettisoned from Washington to be ready to scoop talent. It's even possible they've been calling many teams irt front office jobs because they might be considering replacement of Snead or changing his duties.

Is this one of those rumors where a "league source" was just spitballing based on past associations, but had no actual substance behind it? It sure looks that way to me, especially coming from Pro Football Talk, which is a garbage site hosted and ran by garbage people.

This rumor started a few days ago by Mike Florio so at the moment it is all based on him throwing darts like he does. So wouldn't worry about it too much until something more definitive is presented.

Nice pick up Merlin

I think this is the more than likely scenario, I'm sure Washington is a leaking information and we are calling around to see who is going to be likely to be released or let go.

When Florio gets wind of this he makes ties to Allen, guy is a tool and I'd be shocked if there is any merit whatsoever behind this.
