He was talking to Andrew Brandt this morning and Brandt said "no doubt quite a few teams removed him for their draft list this week.." to wit Tucker said "I have to wonder if SF won't WANT to draft him, because of their large homosexual population it could be a boon for them?" Brandt agreed that there WILL be some teams who see this as an opportunity for exposure for their team while others won't want all the added attention that is sure to come.

Brandt made a great point when he said; "every week the press from your next opponent gets to pick 4 guys to interview and Sam will be picked every week so this story will keep getting rehashed.."
 
Like I've already said repeatedly... He's perfect for the whiners.

interesting to see where he ends up, and if that team ends up on hard knocks !!
 
All the jokes aside, it does make sense. Similarly to how the Mariners went after Suzuki and how the Yankees will pay big for asian prospects. It is good marketing.

...but I think the team best suited for Sam might be the Packers.

I still think if I had to choose ANYONE to pick him, I'd pick the Vikings, and that's only if Kluwe's suit against them gets any traction.
